Donald Trump's habit of testing the US relationship with Britain took a new turn Monday when he attacked the UK's National Health Service, claiming it is "going broke and not working."
The US President hit out on Twitter minutes after a segment aired on Fox News that highlighted winter strains on the UK health care system. Trump accused Democrats of pushing a similar universal health care system for the US."
The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks," Trump wrote.
Trump drew swift condemnation from Britain's Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who has been under fire for the government's handling of a winter health crisis that prompted a protest march in London at the weekend.

They hit back with a strongly worded waiting list.
I was having knee pain and it took all of 1 week to get a MRI. In England I could have gotten one in 2 years.
UK’s NHS = really bad joke.
Britain hits back with a limp-wrist.
President Trump is right again....most Americans think they want single payer...they also don't realize how close America came to being a Socialist country...
It’s true. I lived in Reading, Berkshire for one year and it was a miserable time. I had to drive 1.5 hours just to get antibiotics for conjunctivitis because I wasn’t allowed to be seen at a local doctor’s office near where I worked. I missed an entire day of work for a 3 minute consultation and visit to the pharmacy. And that’s a very simple example.
There he goes againspouting facts.
So we should care if the UK is mad at us?
It will take strong willed President Trump and his posse of Deplorables to stop the Shadow Government.
If you are a U.S. citizen living in America, London is a greater threat to your freedom than Moscow. Yes, the UK is our ally. But the “special relationship” is nonsense.
Japan and Israel are far better friends to America than Great Britain. Don’t get me wrong, the UK is a fantastic country with wonderful people; but is a foreign country with its own interests that diverge from ours.
And, do we want to talk about “interference” in our elections? NBC News regularly has BBC staff participating in our political debate on NBC networks. And BBC broadcasts a nightly news program, chocked full of political opinion, on our nationwide taxpayer funded public television networks.
A close look at disinformation published by foreign governments in the U.S. reveals that the UK is the most prolific. Part of their agenda is gay marriage, gun control, government healthcare. That’s a UK agenda, NOT a Russian agenda.
Do not forget. The author of the dirty dossier was British, retired MI-6 agent Christopher Steele.
Most of those who want single payer think it is the same thing as BlueCross/BlueShield except the government pays the bill. BC/BS has a contractual obligation to provide health care. Government paid health care has a budget. There is a difference.
The truth hurts
England is in denial. Funny how they go nationalistic with their NHS while they give fraudcare to all those migrants while SAS heros are homeless
Bunch of imbeciles
And Trump is right on terrorism too. England has more terrorists than Saudi
Given that England or France house more terrorists than Saudi Arabia, one day we might have the Saudis as the better friends!
The French official of courts has said there would repercussions if ISIs jihadists are condemned to death in arab lands. Imagine Iran saying the same of America! A pundit quipped that not only France is islamic but now its government waging jihad!
This British reaction and the Steele dossier indicate the same for England
Yeah, returning the Churchill bust was a real poke in the eyeball, oh wait.....
That’s not a bug, that’s a feature! If they don’t do diagnosis for two years, you either get better on your own or you die, either of which makes diagnosis way easier and saves money on treatment!
