Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed Sunday that the Department of Justice is investigating whether the FBI disclosed all relevant facts to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court in seeking a warrant to spy on a 2016 Trump campaign volunteer.
“Let me tell you, every FISA warrant based on facts submitted to that court have to be accurate,” Sessions replied when asked by Fox News “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo about the controversial FISA warrant application.
“That will be investigated and looked at, and we are not going to participate as a Department of Justice in providing anything less than a proper disclosure to the court before they issue a FISA warrant,” Sessions said.
Sessions was referring to a warrant submitted by the FBI to the FISA court in 2016 to spy on Carter Page, a volunteer foreign policy advisor to President Donald Trump’s campaign organization. The application was based mainly on information compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele in a dossier.

I don’t think he knew what a snake pit he was being put in charge of nor has he taken action to clean it out.
Holder/Lynch completely corrupted the DOJ.
It does not look like he's vigorously trying to determine who needs to be imprisoned for a long time and who needs to be put up against a wall and shot.
If Rosenstein is leading the probe, then that's a bad thing.

Sessions inactivity could be part of the “calm before the storm” strategy. Hope so.

Sessions is completely closed mouthed about any investigations; that is his way. It does make it hard to see what his plans are, but that is the way the DOJ/FBI should operate. We should be thankful that he is trying to run a leak free shop and hope that he will bring the hammer down.

Damn straight. If it’s RR it’s not a probe it’s a cleanup.

Step in the right direction but I am of the opinion that a special prosecutor needs to be appointed. Someone not afraid of Hillary and who has the testicular fortitude to pursue leaders of the swamp.
Will we know before the end of the century? These investigations go on forever. Either they gave the court false info or not. I know I’m stating the obvious but do we get results?

Yeah, that’s the ticket. The dirty department gets to investigate its’ dirty self.
True but he lacked the courage to stand up to the Senate and the media, and say,”I did nothing with Russia, and I am not recusing myself.”
He would be right to have done that, and shut this whole freak show down from the beginning. There was nothing, there is nothing, but the potential for Mueller’s mischief and perjury traps. He may go after Trump’s family.
The Left Deep State was able to get him off the case which was critical for their efforts and put Rosenstein in charge. That is what is amazing, they knew they had to get rid of Sessions in order for the frameup to succeed.
