Revisit 2nd amendment, sure!

• Pass National reciprocity
• Pass Hearing Safety Act
• Eliminate gun free zones
• Improve background checks re mental challenged people, sure, why not? Via a court order, of course, which means due process.
• Agree to enforce existing guns laws! Prosecute violators!
• Limit guns? Sure, anything that police can have, a citizen can have. I can't think of a more meaningful distinction that respects the 2nd amendment short of an anything goes interpretation which is not realistic, even if preferred.
• Okay, ban bump stocks. Big deal, I doubt anyone knows someone that even has one. And anyone so desperate can ge a rubber band
• Change age limit, no. In fact, IF 18 is age to vote and join the military, then it is age to buy/sell/own guns, alcohol, etc. Okay, if insist, then restrict non-servicemembers under 21. But if a US citizen is in the military, they get FULL RIGHTS OF CITIZENSHIP.

How many of you agree with that? Quite a few other FReepers in the northeast have stated support for barring people 18-20 years of age from possessing long guns, lately. We've had some fairly heated and lengthy arguments over it in some threads.

As a matter of fact, quite a few FReepers have stated support for making it illegal for people 18-20 years of age to buy rifles, including those in our military forces. I suspect any such bill would bar them from possessing so-called long guns in general.

If they are too young to buy a gun, then they are too young to buy alcohol or to VOTE!
