Ahearn admitted to shooting the U.S. Mail carrier as she was delivering mail because she would not give him her cell phone. She is still recovering from the gunshot wound that pierced both her legs. Ahearn left the scene in her pickup truck, which had her purse, personal items and a "considerable amount" of mail. His co-defendent Sarah Richford, 27, followed him in a Toyota Venza. A United States postal inspector spotted the Toyota Venza at a restaraunt near the location of the shooting just two days later. The inspector tried to make an investigative stop, but Ahearn fired a handgun in the direction of the federal officer, leading to a 19-mile-long high-speed pursuit. He and Richford avoided arrest.

Interesting that the three got away one time after a high speed chase by blending into a mall.
Well who hasn’t shot a mail carrier and then driven off in the carrier’s vehicle because they would give you their cell phone?
let’s hope this is one of the accomplishes because if not 23 is the new 43.
Who among us has not wanted to shoot a mail carrier?

There must be some identity fraud going on. That guy looks like he’s been in state prison for 23 years, starting when he was 23.
Police arrested Ahearh, Richford and Lee without incident Feb. 15, 2017, in a parking lot of a different motel.
It says the Ahearn guy is 23 years old, right below his photo. The guy in the photo is NOT 23 year old.
preferably a pit bull. ;)
(apologies to all of the pit bull lovers out there; I once found one with no tags and drove 20 miles to a shelter that wouldn’t kill him. It was just a joke! I’m weird that way.
;) ).
Shoot a postal worker on the job = Federal crime
Shoot at a postal inspector = Federal crime
Guy’s looking at serious time in Club Fed!
