A tentative plan for President Donald Trump to host his Mexican counterpart in Washington has been put on hold, the White House confirmed Saturday.
Trump and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto have agreed that now is not the right time for Pena Nieto to make his first visit since Trump took office more than a year ago, according to a White House official who insisted on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. U.S. and Mexican officials will continue to talk and work together, the official said.
The Washington Post cited U.S. and Mexican officials in reporting late Saturday that the plan was shelved last week after a testy telephone call between the leaders ended in an impasse over the wall Trump has pledged to build on the U.S.-Mexico border to stem the flow of immigrants and drugs.

Building the wall and adopting stricter immigration policies would force Mexico to deal with their own problems. It would eliminate the drug cartels and push free-market reforms within the country.
But the white Spanish ruling class doesn't want that to happen.

Let’s not forget all of the illegal Mexican citizens that we have in the US meddling in our elections. The Mexican invasion is much much worse than anything Russia has done or could do.
President Nieto and his entire government should be forbidden entry to the US. If these crooks want to visit they can try to sneak across the border facing rape, robbery, violence, and death like they have forced 1/4 the population of Mexico.
He self deported before he even got here. Winning!
Since I can’t watch the Sunday shows because I don’t want to destroy my killer 64” plasma, I rely on good news stories like this to keep my spirits up.
Mexico is a Shthole. I’ve been there, South, Mid, North.
CNN and MSNBC will try to spin this as Nieto spurns Trump invite. But no getting around the fact that PDJT will not back down on intention to make Mexico pay. Trump wins! Trump wins! Trump wins!
And so does America.
Mexico has a middle class. Sort of. What ever they are, they are not swimming across the Rio Grande or hiding under the melons in the back of a truck to get here. The losers we get from Mexico are the worst of the worst. People who can’t make it in their own country. Criminals, mental defectives, unskilled, addicted, bums and whores. If they weren’t, they would move to a nice suburb and get a job instead of becoming international criminals on the run.
All Trump had to do was hold up a mirror and recite to the Mexico pres. Mexico’s own laws and penalties for illegal immigrants -
Hope he did that. It would have ticked the Mexican off for sure.
He should also note the racism in Mexico (as in most Latin American countries) - the top 5% of leaders (plus or minus) are of mostly or all Spanish heritage (i.e., white) with little or no Indian (indigenous)/native blood........

The Mexican President is a hypocrite. He has his own southern border wall. And don’t get me started about their laws concerning their own illegals.
Does the Mexican Presidente not understand that money for our southern border fortification can easily be taken out of the $300 million annual foreign aid sent to that miserable country? As President Trump has repeatedly said, they will pay for the wall one way or another.

Illegals caught in Mexico are considered felons and are subject to two years prison time. Try to reenter Mexico and you get ten years.
