There is something very wrong here. And I am a Trump supporter. If Trump has a problem with Sessions, fire him or ask him to resign. But publicly berating him is completely wrong. While Sessions is in the job, he’s on Trump’s team. Trump should show respect for those working for him. This is not doing that.
Respect is earned.
So is disrespect.
Sessions is being shown all the respect he has earned.
It makes me wonder if something else is going on behind the scenes.
If he speaks publicly, he cannot be accused of making threats that aren’t also known in public as not being formal threats. Doing this in public is the safe way to do it, without investigations following his dismissal. Also, the Public gets on Trump’s side to hold Senators accountable to replace Sessions with someone competent.
Trump is compromised. It’s over. They got to him, either with something credible and legal, or something shady and below board. Most likely the later, or it would just go through Mueller and he’d be out.
This is all for show now. Play along. Make a tweet complaining about Sessions, but we are running the show now.

I totally agree with your statement however AG Sessions should have appointed a special prosecutor, he didn't, he handed the work off to an Obama holdover.....President Trump should "step in" but not publicly.
Trump might be making the public case for firing him first.

What is wrong is that Trump no support whatsoever in the Senate, so should he fire former-Senator Sessions he will not get another AG confirmed to serve until his second term. The calculation for Trump is whether he wants Sessions there or whether he wants Rosenstein to be acting AG for the rest of his first term. Now, he could also fire Rosenstein, but then the war between Trump and Congress goes nuclear...and I very much doubt Trump has enough support in Congress to survive such a war.
All this may be misdirection by Trump. You never know.
I hope it is, and that Sessions is actually lining up indictments and charges prior to the midterm elections.
If this story is true, there is clearly a problem & it is with Sessions being an enabler of those who have conspired to commit a fraud against the FISA Court & Trump’s enemies who have conspired to commit sedition against the duly elected President.
It’s not about sessions it’s about republcan establishment corruption and/or incompetents.
Hiring liberals to do investigation into other liberals and acting supprised when they never find anything or worse still exceed their mandate and go after the only Republican they can find for a process crime.
