If it involves magazine capacity limits, there will be blood. Not everywhere is California.

As badly as I want CCW reciprocity passed into law, I think tactically Trump is right. Two different issues. Only if he really does not want this to pass....

This really makes my stomach turn. I’m tired of him shooting his mouth off in public meetings before Steve Miller can get to him and set him straight.
To: familyop
Reciprocity is guaranteed to mean a federal standard that states must meet. Think of the ccw requirements of the strictest state, and THAT will be the new national standard.

Oh my, what has Trump done but make a few comments or observations but has not done anything. Yet, this will still have idiots come here to stir up and disrupt things, making it seem like he’s about to cave to firearms prohibitionists. Sometimes, this site seems like it is not properly policed concerning nonsense like this.

Ok, but what’s the other issue - more gun control?
The problem is that he should be making the argument for CCW reciprocity and the elimination of phony gun free zones to reduce soft targets. He’s handing the left the argument and then saying it’d be nice to get CCW reciprocity later??

Sounds like trouble in Trump land. Ted would have never let this happen. A Democrat is a Democrat is a Democrat. From NYC no less. Remember them NY values?
I voted for him because Hillary was worse, but we had the chance to have a real conservative. A tax cut is not unique to Trump. A border wall is not unique to Trump. Selling out the 2nd Amendment is unique to Trump.

(I think the Democrats will try to filibuster any bill anyway, to the extent of filibustering a bill that does pretty much what they claimed they wanted just a few months ago. Because they don't want to fix any problems.)

Done!
There's one way that we can make a statement beyond that, too. There are only somewhat over 5 million members of the National Rifle Association with over 320 million people in our country! Why have tens of millions of owners of firearms neglected to join?
We know what to do. Let's do it (membership drive). It's time to get fearless and put those decals on our vehicles. Don't be chickens.

Oh come one...look at the issues:
You want “federal” conceal carry? What happened to states rights? You don’t like the conceal carry law in your state, vote in better candidates or move. Anything “federal” is always a watered down mess...no thank you.
Raising age to 21 to purchase a firearm will fail the first constitutional test...you can be 18 and join the military and operate all types of firearms but you can’t buy a firearm? Unconstitutional.
Mental health issues? Will never pass first constitutional challenge based on due process.
Much ado about nothing. All show and theater and a set up for Democrats who will sit at the table (like DACA) and do nothing.

What if Democrats decide that they like him...or love him!Do you really think that would happen? Time and again Republicans have given the Dems what they want and the Dems and press continue to vilify them.

If it involves magazine capacity limits, there will be blood. Not everywhere is California. Agreed.
If, as has been proven by recent events, the government cant protect us from deranged kids, Im DAMN SURE not about to allow it to limit my ability to defend against determined jihadis or foreign invaders setting up their own enclaves.
You can credibly fight without full auto, but without standard capacity magazines? No dice.

You're right. Ted Nugent wouldn't have stood for it...but least he's a natural born citizen.

Little squawk there from Justin Castro's peanut gallery, close cultural neighbor of New York.
