Perfect negotiation... We “might” do this or that....but a bill for abating gun free zones IS coming. Dems and the news media are taking the bait. The media “goes” with his throw out bid amplifying its supposed importance. And in “befriending him on gun issues”..they will be forced to vote for something they would not otherwise vote for. It is fun to watch. Even more fun is watching the media react and play HIS game. I’ve never seen anybody play this game better

Ah, what a lovely fallacy. As I stated previously, President Trump’s comments are just another example of his brilliance. With that statement, he destroys the narrative that he’s in the NRA’s pocket for 2020. He also AGAIN sets the RATs up to show they don’t give a rats damn about protecting the public & it looks like they’re taking the bait (just as you have) again.
Since you are unable or unwilling to see what is plainly before you there’s not much point in continuing this discussion.

Too funny. It’s like the 2016 Primaries all over again. Some people just cannot learn & other don’t want to learn. I used to think that was just a progressive affliction but after dealing with you this morning I’m starting too think it’s just a general human failing for some.
I try to stay away from the news except when I’m forced to watch it at the gym. When I saw that news conference, I was going back and forth between FNC and CNN, and the coverage differences were stark.
That aside, while I appreciate Trump’s aplomb, I’m still very sensitive to this stuff. I know too many cops who would comply with an unlawful order to disarm Americans, and if there’s support from the top, I would genuinely fear for my life. That’s no way to live.
you should know trump at this meeting skillfully destroyed a piece of gun control legislation that was going to happen... remember when he told Dian Feinstein that by his order he could regulate the bump stock situation....that bill was going to become law whether trump supported it or not now it is just a executive order and he never said what shape the order would happen in...I can imagine that it could be as simple as that you cant sell a gun that has this modification. but owning it is legal... before with Feinstein’s bill it would of been jail time with this modification. also this order lasts until he changes it or some one else gets in office where if Feinstein’s bill passed we would be stuck with it
Good to hear. You can't deal with leftists. If Trump were ever to sell his soul to them, as so many RINOs do, they'd go right back to hating him in the very next instant, only he'd have garnered the hatred of Conservatives, too.
Really, nobody should take satisfaction in being "liked" by the MSM anymore than one should feel pleased about earning their first dollar from turning a trick in a truckstop bathroom stall.
