Andrew Pollack gets it. My heart goes out to him, his family and all their loved ones. The real culprits of the Feb. 14, slaughter are certainly the maniac shooter and the gun he used, but.....the real motivators and abettors of this absolute horror show is none other then the entire Democrat Party, Broward County leadership, the school board and their administrators, the county social workers, the Broward County Sheriff, the Broward County Police Force and the Federal Government FBI.

The NRA & millions of citizen gun owners throughout the USA has nothing to do with this tragic incident. The Democrat liberal, progressive, left-wing had everything to with it happening. The elected public servants of Broward County & the Federal Goverment FBI, stood by, when advised of this oncoming tragedy, did nothing to prevent it, causing the deaths of innocents and their hero teachers that tried to protect them during the bullet massacre.

It is truly a shame that the parents, citizens & voters of Broward County, Florida cannot see the forest for the trees. However, the rest of the American nation and people clearly sees the guilty parties, and that is why their cause of gun control is losing the battle.

Had these folks lashed out at their elected public servants, their cause of gun control, restrictions, and background checks would have been more successful, Guns do not kill people, people kill people and the elected Democrats of Broward County, Florida, shortchanged their most precious asset, their children. Case closed.

Oh you are so right AB. I recall when they said where the bird was sighted thinking that “This is where AB lives”.

Bear in mind that I lost all my prose and could not copy. I put Alabama on the original post.

Beautiful bird although I am suspicious of photo-shopping.

-- It's sad we can't successfully oppose a meme like that. --

Depends on how you measure success. I don't mind at all that they have temper tantrums, and I feel no urge to counter the nonsense message with a sensible message. That is, up to the point the message is converted into action.

Exactly! At lunch Friday I had it out with a bunch of "guns are not gooders" who refused to put first things first at any cost.

On both sides of the aisle they keep up with the bumpstock/AR15 BS and totally ignore the "crazy people" argument.

Basically, the dem argument against going after crazy people is that they have civil rights and the most we can do after 39 appearances at their door step is to Baker Act them for 72 hours.

So why even try.

At least we know what the mentality is and what we are up against.

Once again it's the same old driveby BS. They frame the argument, guns bad crazy people cant be managed and then go full throttle against all logic.

Result=logic in the tank, conservatives made to look like look like gun nuts by the media and nothing ever changes.

I have been looking for that yellow cardinal!

I’ve been seeing lots of red ones and they are all singing up a storm and fighting as it is full on mating season here.

Same with blue birds, various warblers, sparrows and finches. Even the hawks have been pairing up.

Very noisy outside compared to just a month ago.

The Clintons know the best defense is a strong offense. This one is beginning to backfire if Sessions will show a backbone.

The shooter was not identified thanks to Black Lives Matter and his last name. That is what they don’t want to admit and they have spent their entire lives blaming guns.

Most people have guns to protect themselves from bad buys with guns.

You’re not kidding AB. Birds are singing and last week I saw a robin hopping along the front lawn, grabbing worms.

Beloved husband and I used to have a contest as to who would see the first robin of the season. Usually one is spotted in February and that person wins.

This year I guess I won.

The birds are restless, I can feel it in the air.

Ironically, the entire episode at Parkland can be viewed as a self-destruct by governing officials of Broward county to dc from top to bottom.

At the top Ozero created financial motivation for school officials from the school resource officer to sheriff coward down to look the other way when blacks or others created crimes.

Zero's lust to ignore black crime from high school to jail by giving financial incentives to schools who reported less crime can easily be seen as the cause for the recent shootings.

The ignoring of 39 visits by law enforcement to the perps home is obvious evidence.

But everyone along the line from school resource officer all the way up the chain to ozero were all invested in not reporting black crime in particular and all crime specifically after the quotas were reached.

In other words the fix was in in Broward County and they learned it from Dade.

Zero colluded with DWS who got with the school superintendent and sheriff Coward filtering down to the lowest police officer who colluded with the principal and school resource officer to ignore crime and we have dead kids but it's blamed on guns.

I wish I knew what really goes on between Trump and Sessions. What is surprising is that when Trump loses confidence in a member of his team they are usually gone.Sessions is still there. Makes me wonder WTH is really going on?

You brainwash a kid through the school system about America being evil and wonder why he turns out to be a killer. If you take God out of schools he will be replaced by Satanism. That is what we are seeing now.

Feel good laws will not change a single thing until you address the issue God and the Ten Commandments is missing.

Yes. A very interesting flip of the narrative from "guns are the problem" to "government is the problem."

In parallel, the proposed solution moved from "partially disarm the law abiding" to "harden the soft targets."

I think Sessions was total set up.

“What we need is for you to make friends with Donald Trump,” the high ranking member of the FBI told Jeff, who had been summoned for a personal mission.

Jeff shifted nervously on his feet. He’d had a good many years in the senate and wanted many more in peace with no bother.

“Then,” the FBI operative said, “IF he should get elected, you talk him into appointing you AG. By then you will have been his best buddy on the campaign trail and Trump will happily appoint you.”

Jeff shifted his feet again. He knew there was more to this plan.

“Once you get appointed, the very FIRST thing you do is recuse yourself from the Russian investigation,” the FBI operative told him.

Sessions looked nervously around the room. “Trump is not going to like that,” Jeff said.

“Don’t worry, we got a team good to go on the Russia thing and given time we will get Trump impeached. You just go along and yield to Rosenstein. We’ll take it from there.”

Jeff walked slowly out of the room. He didn’t much like having to betray someone like he’s been asked to do but they had those pictures of him and he could not allow them to get out.

Not buyin’. Sessions loved Trumps long-awaited position on immigration.
