The comics industry seems to be doubling down on their policy of completely excluding anyone who is straight, white, male, or conservative. This year's Emerald City Comic Con released its schedule of events on its app recently. Anyone who is male, white and identifies as heterosexual found himself excluded from industry mixers and professional mixers.

If you take a look at the convention link, it made me think of a modernized version of the last days of the Roman Empire.
What unleashed this madness? Even five years ago, transgenderism was a peripheral issue that most liberals didn’t even talk about. Now, it is the central aim of “civilization” to deny gender realities and to turn our young people into a generation of cross-dressing freaks.
Straight White Males are also being removed from the BBC ,it’s happening everywhere ,we’ll have to use the power of our wallets to straighten them out ,LOL

That would only work if they were the majority. They are currently (and will always remain) a minority of the population.
This type of action does nothing for their cause. In fact it will eventually result in a backlash.

Im going to guess that the majority of people who buy comics are straight white males. This is NFL levels of stupid.
Institutions that deal with symbols, ideas, and the imagination, tend to become more liberal over time, unless they are explicitly conservative.
It will take more than that, like a wave of discrimination lawsuits.
