A year or two of boycotting comics might send the message but might also tank the price of collector comics, similar to how the baseball scandals tanked baseball cards which some still have a footlockers full of.
It’s just one in a series of attacks on the culture of wypipo, using comics as a smokescreen (everyone can have culture but wypipo).
Now, if someone was of the mind to pester the ALCU, and the producers of the comics, and holding BLM-type shame demonstrations and marches outside the event, things might change. But until wypipo start showing some tangible reaction beyond a yawn, the destruction of American culture will march on.

The future is difficult to predict, however history does indicate that trends to continue one way...until they don’t.
The BLACK SWAN THEORY attempts to explain this. An event occurs that is so unexpected no one would have predicted it, and the impact of that event changes everything.
Historians may conclude the election of President Trump is an example of the BLACK SWAN THEORY, but it is still too early to tell.
Right now the progressives have control of much of our culture, and they seem to be unstoppable. I would remind you that the old Soviet Union had complete (and brutal) control over their people for over 70 years. You either bowed downed to the State or you were destroyed (killed or exiled ) Then the whole system collapsed.
My (humble) opinion for the reason of the collapse is that while the State could control the people’s action, they could not control their thoughts. Remove the heavy hand of the state and you get civil war (Yugoslavia, or Iraq, or Syria).
Progressive never take into account basic human natures.
Individual first, Family, and then Tribe. People tend to be more comfortable with those that share their back ground and culture, and their beliefs, and even their bias.
10,000 years of civilized man there were (with few exceptions) family units, one man, one woman, whose task was to procreate and raise their children. Homosexually does not fit that basic template. And while in some societies in the past where homosexuality was tolerated there are few societies where they are honored (to the degree they are today by the progressives).
This move to put all minorities (both in race and sexuality) above the majority race in this nation is creating an unbalance.
Progressives feel they have won so their hate is coming out of the closet. The media which for the most part control cheer when they discriminate against white males while at the same time accusing them (whites) of discrimination.
How long will this unbalance go on before the push back happens.... unknown. That it will happen is not in doubt.
In some ways the progressives actively ignoring the Federal Government (when it comes to drugs and illegal immigration) is setting the state for the more conservative states to begin ignoring the Federal Government over things they don’t like. Pay back is going to be a bltch.
I know a grown man who is big on comic books and going to cons. He’s a nice guy but his immaturity is pitiful. Thankfully his mom is rich and he going to get a million. His only passion seems to fantasy. If I had a daughter I’d tell her to avoid men who are still into comics unless she wants to be stuck with a Peter Pan.
Forest? What forest? Yeah, they can’t see their own intolerance because they’re too busy being tolerant. HUH?
