I can't get Fox live so I turned over to Sky News to watch and the commentator immediately said if would be impossible to verify. I had to yell at the TV to remind him that Obama is not President anymore!
Ahd he may have shot whatever wad of nuclear he had on hand. That the mountain complex the Norks had been using for nuclear testing had collapsed and made further testing impossible, certainly figures into the equation.
It is also possible that the missiles he has rolled out on parade are nothing but glorified empty metal tubes. Others have noted discrepancies between them and functioning cruise missiles.
Also figure in that Kim must be getting desperate what with all the family he keeps killing off.

Make as deal that gives South Korea and US inspectors unfettered access to all parts of North Korea. Maybe Kim will comes to his senses and realize there is no future in threatening other nations, and then begin moving toward normalized relations with SK, and maybe eventual reunification.
I can’t believe that everyone in NK is stark raving mad and wants their nation to continue on the course it’s been on for a few decades now.
Unfortunately the losers in any “deal” will be the North Korean people, since Kim will just continue to run his country-sized concentration camp without outside interference.

He said that Kim had said he was committed to denuclearization, suspending more missile tests, and had agreed that U.S.-South Korean joint military exercises the North objects to must continue.There is such a thing as too good to be true, and this sounds like the perfect example. So call me skeptical.

Would be a TERRIBLE mistake for him to agree to meet. He should agree to meet AFTER KIM HAS DISARMED and DESTROYED the nukes ... otherwise he’s walking into the same trap Clinton fell into.
