There are many rotting in jail since 2001 for stupid PC sh*t stemming from Iraq and Afghanistan. Furthermore, I would like to see that POS Hassan dead among other treasonous,murderous SOB’s.
I don’t understand this. This guy disobeyed orders and seriously threatened our national security. This weakens our military and our national security in a serious way.
I don’t know. When I read the account, it sure didn’t sound suspicious to me in that there could have been espionage. He sounded like a 22 year old dummy who wanted to brag to friends about what he did. Then when someone found out, he panicked and destroyed his computer.
I could see busting him in rate, removing his security clearance disciplining him in command and then having him serve out somewhere else.
It was pretty obvious he was being stupid and not engaging in espionage, at least to me.

It seemed too harsh by a lot. I am personally very much a rule follower, but I recognize young men can have a streak of blatant stupidity in them. He probably saw other people taking pictures, and thought it was not as big a deal as they made it out to be.
Until they made an example out of him.
Now his DD214 needs to be changed. I understand he was given an “Other Than Honorable” discharge.

I figured it was dishonorable. That is odd to me, but I admit (gratefully) I don’t know much about the business end of that.
There is a part of me that likes to think (even though I know it is fantasy) that they are re-setting the scale in time to take Hillary out!

No, thankfully it was “Other Than Honorable”. A Dishonorable is really awful. It’s almost as bad as losing your citizenship. I truly believe this young man’s discharge must be changed.
Oh, and never forget US Code 2071 That statute alone should put her away for life. Capone was finally jailed for tax evasion. Maybe 2071 is the ticket for Hillary.

Depends. But I have read somewhere that, based on the totality of the evidence concerning his unlawful act, his sentence was thought by some to have been too harsh.
