Great post, one of the more recent underestimates is his policy on trade and tariffs.
Many think Trump is way off base in expecting a fair and free trade on a worldwide scale.
They fail to note his strategy which never changes from what i have seen.
He always asks for everything and in the end is willing to compromise,as he is now doing with Mexico and Canada already. He will also bring up Nafta and get as much for the US as possible.Makes you wonder what the last four presidents were doing. Why didn’t they help the US vis a vi trade.

The run of the mill US politician is a puppet who manages the US plantation for his master. The master has no interest in any one plantation over another. The vision of the NWO is a world without meaningful borders.

Reducing the US standard of living was (and remains) a deliberate and stated mission. This can be done to the point that the people rebel - and that point is a long way off, as long as the EBT cards and cable teevee are running.

Yes, this.

Part of what Rush Limbaugh said this week got it right but only part.

Rush kept saying everyone knew that Trump wanted tariffs so why are they surprised? He ran on it.

But on this Rush was wrong! Trump ran on getting bad trade deals—ones that exploited this country and were inherently unfair—fixed. Tariffs are just a tool to make that happen. Trump didn’t run on tariffs—he ran on fair trade, with tariffs if that’s what it takes to GET fair trade.

Now, the rest of what he said was absolutely true, and the compromise on NAFTA is the end result of wielding the tariff weapon.

My opinion is that past presidents have been globalists to such a degree they saw the tariff weapon as the DESTROYER of global trade, not something we can use to move it forward.

Anyways, we should all note what Trump is doing here, and it’s not to just get tariffs in place to protect steel workers, but get a fairer trade going so our great, American-made steel competes on a level playing field, which helps American steel workers.
