How about the fact that the POS had been giving terroristic threats that weren’t responded to? If law enforcement couldn’t respond to the threats of violence, I would be willing to bet that they wouldn’t do much about a black market for guns.
The anti-Constitution 'Rat party will NEVER back any Constitutional amendment to repeal the 2nd. Why would they? They back, use and are being relatively successful using other means to effectively repeal it. Indeed, it wouldn't even be in their character to repeal the 2A with the Constitutional method. No, their character guides them to shop judges, elect crony politicians, and yell and scream from the enemedia rooftops how guns kill people so lets infringe on them to prevent honest folks from dealing with criminals.
I have always wondered why we waste so much time arguing with leftists over gun rights while ignoring what is the truth and proclaiming it loud and clear.
We never just state and stay with stating that the Left wants to confiscate all guns because they can totally control people who cannot fight back. They want control of your health to punish you, control of your speech to shut you up, and control of your guns to render you helpless and in their grips.
We allow them to act like they “care so much about the children” etc. and because of one shooter guy, it makes it just to take rights away from people who did not hurt anyone.
THE LEFT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. THEY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND CONTROL. The sooner we keep throwing the TRUTH in their faces the sooner they will quit staging killings of innocents. Those innocents are “bumps in the road” to them and will continue until we put the bumps on their heads instead.
If I were 18-20, I would scrape together $80 and go by an AR-15 lower. Or maybe 2. Build them up at your leisure.
Can’t think of a better way to open an updated version of the Civil War than to go this route.

That they will never do. They will makes noises, but they need campaign issues, not the resolution of issues.
The `Rats aren’t stupid, they know repealing the 2nd Amendment is a fool’s errand.
What is ominous are states passing GVRO/ERPO ordinances, aka Red Flag laws. These empower family members to ask a judge to issue an order confiscating the guns of someone they deem a threat to himself or others supposedly based on observed behavior. These are ex parte, meaning the `accused’ doesn’t get to explain himself before a judge . No opinion by a mental health professional, either.
CA, OR, WA, IL, & MA now have these laws. Watch for an outbreak of SWAT raids based on “He has guns, he threatened me, I’m afraid for my life!”
Confiscation only temporary? HA! False claims punishable? HA!

Is there anyplace in Fla that rents guns to take hunting? I really doubt there is a shooting range anywhere in the USA that will rent a gun to take home, to anyone regardless of age!
He needs to prove that the NRA directly profits from the sale of guns, which of course, they don't receive any profits from gun manufactures or gun sellers. The claim is a ludicrous one.
