These experts are 100% correct. Trump has no idea how to make deals and control people. Oh wait, he does it all the time. Never mind.
These people are so predictable. Whatever Trump does has to be labeled as a move based on his stupidity, incompetence, etc. Never mind the fact this “dunce” of a president is running rings and then some around all of these learned prep school and Ivy League educated newsreaders!
But but but the State Department is supposed to do the diplomacy thingy. It’s worked so well in the past.
Could there possibly be any more Ignorant a holes in the studio?
Can they fit their stupidity in that small of a space?
I doubt it.
Clinking glasses in appreciation for the billions of dollars she brought to pay him off for awhile.
I don’t get the sense that anyone on this panel of “experts”, and I do not except Noonan, has the faintest clue about foreign policy. I do get the sense they’d happily sell out their own country if it made Trump look bad. This isn’t “fake news”, it’s blatant, unintelligent malice.
These dolts really are shooting themselves in the foot. By setting the bar so low, anything other than our total annihilation by week’s end is a gonna make Trump look like the Peacemaster.
I’ll get flamed for this. Although Albright continued the appeasing/do-nothing policy of four previous presidents, including her boss, it’s hard to denounce that meeting. In some ways, it was unprecedented, that an official U.S. diplomat is clinking glasses with a country who is technically at war with the U.S. And Kim Jung Il was way more ruthless than his son.
“How does any meeting between Trump and Kim not turn into a victory for the North Koreans”
They must think Trump is FDR meeting with Stalin.
How soon they forget, ey?
If Trump announced he was pro-choice, the libtards would instantly become pro life.
Do you guys remember how this same panel of experts relentlessly ripped on obummer for giving Iran a billion dollars in small unmarked bills?
Neither do I.
Foreign policy in the Pre Brass Balls Era consisted of paying off anyone who threatened us.
“In some ways, it was unprecedented, that an official U.S. diplomat is clinking glasses with a country who is technically at war with the U.S. And Kim Jung Il was way more ruthless than his son.”
Clinton and Allbright were fools. But your key point is valid. Dialogue is somewhat useful if for no other reason than to communicate directly to NK what they are risking.
Stupid people.
All they are doing is trying to undermine Trump, befor the meeting even happened.
I can’t believe anyone takes Andrea Mitchell seriously - Or Martha Radditz.
But there are liberals, so......
I’ve heard “experts” on BBC say last week that Trump’s base would turn on him over this meeting.
given that didn’t happen, it looks like FakeNewsMSM have taken on that role for themselves.
these media characters can never regain credibility.
