These experts are 100% correct. Trump has no idea how to make deals and control people. Oh wait, he does it all the time. Never mind.

These people are so predictable. Whatever Trump does has to be labeled as a move based on his stupidity, incompetence, etc. Never mind the fact this “dunce” of a president is running rings and then some around all of these learned prep school and Ivy League educated newsreaders!

I don’t get the sense that anyone on this panel of “experts”, and I do not except Noonan, has the faintest clue about foreign policy. I do get the sense they’d happily sell out their own country if it made Trump look bad. This isn’t “fake news”, it’s blatant, unintelligent malice.

These dolts really are shooting themselves in the foot. By setting the bar so low, anything other than our total annihilation by week’s end is a gonna make Trump look like the Peacemaster.

“How does any meeting between Trump and Kim not turn into a victory for the North Koreans”

They must think Trump is FDR meeting with Stalin.

If Trump announced he was pro-choice, the libtards would instantly become pro life.

Why would you not have the option of
diplomacy any longer just because you tried diplomacy? But you would you still have the option by refusing to engage in diplomacy? They also ignore that Kim made concessions along with asking for this meeting.

I am sure that Trump will take their comments today as further sign that they are what he described.

These people would rather see America destroyed than Trump succeed. Their sickness is no longer a laughing matter.

Phat Boi Norker Kim could have nuked Hawaii and tipped it over and the a-hole leftist media would still blame the President.

It’s a wash, as I have said here several times.

It was a practice of the USSR to demand pre-conditions in order to have a meeting at all, insinuating that the West wanted meetings more that Russia did, and the West was willing to pay for it. North Korea has eschewed this attitude. One point for us.

North Korea has tried unsuccessfully for the last fifty years to get a one on one negotiation with the US but this ‘prestige’ was not bestowed by any US administration, ever. NK got it this time without surrendering up anything but a possible delay in doing what they want to do. One point for NK.

So, it’s a wash thus far. A hidden advantage for the US is that Trump is the only occupant in the White House there has even been with the demonstrated ability to pull this off. It will be interesting to watch.

“How does any meeting between Trump and Kim not turn into a victory for the North Koreans,” he wondered acting baffled.

Trump operates from the highly successful negotiating strategy that all parties emerge as winners. If he negotiates any level of peace with NK is that not a win for North Korea?

Does Soy Boy Chuck Todd wish for the North Koreans to remain as they are? Slaves to their own state, impoverished beyond belief and the pawns of a suicidal game their leaders play?

L'il Kim can scuttle the whole thing if he wishes, nothing Trump can do about that, and Trump certainly can't and won't give L'il Kim everything he wants but he will offer him something far more valuable than all the aid they've ever gotten. A chance to join the world as a real nation state with the opportunities that go with that.

Pres. Trump has already made the alternatives very clear. In private he will make the persuasive case for the upsides to the path of reason.
