What is "a military assault weapon"?

We have Ruger 10/22 with adjustable stocks and magazines that hold over 10 rounds. Thus, five miles away in California, they are assault weapons!

I have a Sig Sauer P320, just like what the military has adopted, so is it now a military weapon?

I used to own a 9mm Makarov, which was military surplus. Another military weapon.

I have several AR-15, civilian versions (all semi-automatic). Are they now "a military assault weapon" even though no military in world would rely on a semi-automatic?

The whole discussion is moot if we get back to any interpretation of the 2nd amendment or 14th amendment. Let's not forget the 14th amendment, as it also deals with gun ownership. We have a constitutional right to bear arms and nothing in that said an age limit, a type of weapon, or where or where not.

👹. If only it were that simple. I have to double check myself if there's a possibility of crossing into that state about 5 miles west of us just to be sure I didn't leave a 10+ mag in the truck. Or a firearm. Yeah, infringed.
