STUNNING: Jeff Sessions Cited the WRONG LAW when He Recused Himself from Russian Witch Hunt – Took Advice From Obama Lawyers ( full title )

...

Sessions made the announcement the day after he was sworn in as Attorney General after advice from Obama lawyers in the Department of Justice.

...

legal expert Gregg Jarrett told Sean Hannity that Sessions used the WRONG LAW when announcing his recusal. He took advice from OBAMA OFFICIALS and they misled him.

Gregg Jarrett: He betrayed the president. He knew when he was sworn in that he was going to recuse himself and the very next day he put the recusal in motion. He never told the president about that. And by the way he cited the regulation in his recusal… He cited the wrong law. It didn’t apply.

Sara Carter: I think he was being advised badly at the time.

Gregg Jarrett: Yeah, by Obama’s holdovers. Who in the world would believe them?

Howlin ran off to one of the numerous "anti-FR" boards, "wideawakes." I don't recall the subject of the April '07 purge, but that's when she left.

____

She was a nasty, rough one. She was hard to take at times, but she was usually right on the facts.

Thanks for the info.

“This feckless clown has had more than a year to produce results and he hasn’t produced ANYTHING. Our “Justice” system is riddled with corruption. The F.B.I. has lost all respect. The Obama holdovers and Hillary have gotten away with EVERYTHING and this useless wanker has done NOTHING except say “well, we’re taking a look at that!” for more than a year.”

Wow, a whole year to dismantle decades of massive corruption. You and others must be some of the best criminal prosecutors in the entire world. We’re all so grateful for the time spared to tell us how nothing is happening.

Utterly clueless even as the hammer is cocked, the D.C. Swamp is terrified and more desperate as it’s losing control over the population with its propaganda.

2018 will be remembered as the year Trump and Sessions took them all on and the utter cluelessness of so many right before it became completely obvious what they were doing to save this Republic.

For those of you in Rio Linda, the fact that mueller ended up heading a soviet style special counsel coup against Trump did not happen by accident. It was orchestrated from the get-go with that beady-eyed rat bastard, Jeff Sessions.

Whether by ignorance or plan the result is the same. Personally I agree with you that this was a well planned coup attempt. First job was to clean up the evidence of the outgoing lawless regime, taking down Trump would be a bonus.

The Plan is well underway and the IG Report is the trigger. Let it commence!

And if he doesn't officially fire McCabe by Friday what then are we to think?

I guess so.

I am flabbergasted that Sessions got played like a grand piano. Or maybe he wasn’t played, since he was ‘playing along’, which is worse imo.

God help this country.

“It’s all fait compli no matter what. The buck stops at the President to have appointed him in the first place. The fact that ANY Obama leftover/holdover existed AFTER AG Session is inconceivable. It’s like refusing to flush a toilet to save water.”

Good analogy.

And good thing I have already had my breakfast...

Sessions always struck me as a decent guy, but a bit of a dim bulb, AND a coward unsuited for the fight against Democrat Communists.

Regardless of how deep/corrupt the ‘swamp’ may be, Magoo has had OVER a year to follow up on the SLAM DUNKS: Holder, Lerner, Tapper, Weiner\Huma, Comey, etc.

All ‘bout exhausted through Congressional committees, and more than one gave a confession...all tied up w/ pretty bow.

Better yet, he could have given the same CA tongue lashing to the OTHER State(s)\counties\etc. Hint: Start in his own back-yard...D.C. Not that he couldn’t have perp-walked a dozen GOVT employees from each to show he meant business, he’d rather slow-crawl it through the Courts.

I didn’t say, suggest or in any way indicate that I expected “decades of massive corruption” to be eliminated in a year. But what I DID expect was to see SOME concrete indication that this is underway. How many RAT weasels in the so-called “Justice” department has Sessions brought to task? How about NONE. How about the Clinton Foundation? How about the e-mails? How about the RATS undermining our system and spying on Trump’s team when he was a candidate? Oh, yeah. He’s workin’ REAL hard on it and we’re all going to see the results any day now.

I’d say you’re the one who’s living in a complete fantasy world.

I have maintained for years that many of them have been threatened, including their families. They were told that they could make noise but not cross the line. Finally, under DJT, some are finally crossing the line.

Trump was/is wise not to fire him....yet. The Dems have wanted Trump to fire him, especially earlier in the Mueller “investigation”.

Sessions could be replaced with a recess appointment. Joe DiGenova would be my choice. The Dems would only vote to confirm a Barney Fife type who would be worse than Sessions.

Trump is fighting them with the resources he has and is being smart about it.

Always making it personal, eh?

DOJ policy when releasing documents has been to defer to their DOJ lawyers. That's why the DOJ has been dragging their feet on some documents and holding back others.

One would be a fool not see that the DOJ has been holding back documents.

JMO.

After Tillerson, now fire Sessions, and appoint someone who will fire Rosenstein and Mueller, and establish a real special prosecutor who will investigate the political and politicized collusion of and conspiracy of the Clinton campaign and officials of the Obama administration in the DOJ and the FBI, including the manufacturing of the “collusion with Russia” myth they fabricated.

The Steele dossier? A product of real collusion with Putin (where did the “evidence” in Russia come from?) and the Clinton campaign, with a wink and a nod from Obama’s DOJ and FBI.

Look at the language of the cite:

“no DOJ employee may participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution, or who would be directly affected by the outcome.”

“or who would be directly affected by the outcome.”

The purpose of the investigation is “Russian Collusion”

This describes Mueller, Comey, Hillary, and all the other Dem agents involved in the investigation. All would be affected by the outcome.

Would someone cite the law that says that a Presidential candidate cannot speak to other governments during or after the campaign?

If they can, Obama is on record as telling the Russians that he will have more leeway after the 2012 election. That’s collusion, pure and simple.

You make it "personal" with Jeff Sessions when you basically say he's an idiot.
