Radical Atheist Who Trashed Billy Graham after His Death Is Set to Become a Navy “Chaplain”

Radical atheist Jason Heap is hoping to become a Navy chaplain.

The US Navy is seriously considering the approval of this anti-Christian activist for a spot in its Chaplain Corps.

In February Heap retweeted a post by radical secularist group trashing Rev. Billy Graham after his death.

...

Within a week of re-assigning (and possibly firing) one chaplain for expressing traditionalist Christian beliefs, the Navy is seriously considering the approval of an avowed “non-theistic humanist” for a spot in its Chaplain Corps.

Conservative U.S. House and Senate members are formally urging the Navy not to approve the atheist for the post, noting the Navy can provide all sorts of other programs for non-believers without altering the mission of the long-established Chaplain Corps.

The secular-humanist applicant is Dr. Jason Heap – described by ConservativeHQ.com as a “militant atheist” – the executive director of the United Coalition of Reason who had sued the Navy in 2014 when it rejected his earlier application to become a Navy chaplain.

That suit ended with a non-public settlement, but Heap is back at it again.

...

Now the decision goes to the Navy Chief of Chaplains, Rear Admiral Margaret Kibben, who is retiring soon.

If she agrees, then the final decision rests with Chief of Naval Personnel – Vice Admiral Robert P. Burke.

Here’s a secret about God. God is seen the best on earth in lowly places. The majesties of man, God disdains.

The military services have their internal procedures but the President absolutely may override them and decide who to appoint or not appoint as a commissioned officer (the higher ranks requiring Senate confirmation).

I do hear that FR gets looked at on the QT. However it would be peachy keen to hear about a semimonthly digest sent right to the Donald.

A Navy chaplain that doesn’t believe in God?

Sure. And put him on deck watch with the other misfits that can’t conn a ship.

I know. It baffles me. If I were in need of spiritual guidance and support, and injured or ill, what would I feel if I drew this guy from the deck? Cheated?

I just don’t understand how they can do this. But there is much I don’t understand these days.

Obama may as well still be president.

Pretty soon he’s going to rack up complaints and will be demoted as the rainbow head he is, then becomes another martyr for the cause.

Is this guy already in the Navy? Don’t you have to be in order to get that job? Plus, he looks as homo as he can be. Whoever in the Navy is considering making this guy their chaplain needs to be fired.

How does a navy chaplain that doesn’t even believe in God become a navy chaplain again? I haven’t read through so someone probably has a ready answer but all I can write is this is a sickeningly evil time to be alive.

I agree Hitech. Every day I wake up and see the news I have to wonder just how bad it was before Noah was locked in the ark and God had to destroy the world. The evil these days rises exponentially daily. It’s astounding.

To really meet God would be, I believe, to weep. No one else could understand how stiflingly evil it is down here.

That rainbow head doesn’t seem to be sympathetic to anybody except God-haters.

Every person who came close to God whether Isaiah or John and so many others fell down as dead and wept.Including those that saw angels. Arrogance and pridefulness( haughty spirit) is Lucifer's sin and he's spreading his darkness so far and wide now. The thing that gets me is when the US falls(should the Lord tarry) there is not another country on earth that will take the mantel and spread His word. After free speech is muzzled, after these freedoms we have been given there is Israel. I do wonder when Jesus will return because that harpazo day cannot be too far off in the future.

I know when my time comes to meet my maker I will fall as dead and probably mess the floor and scream as the lepers, "unclean UNCLEAN!"

All man's righteousness is as filthy rags.

President Trump IS CIC, but he has also said repeatedly that he trusts the Generals and Admirals and other officers to know what’s best for their branches. He’s not like LBJ, who famously said of our troops in Vietnam: “Those boys can’t hit an outhouse without my permission.”

This isn’t a CIC-level decision. It’s up to the people “in the field.”

Job put it “I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” He had been talking about grand things, or so he thought, and then God showed him infinitely grander things.

And such is the state of being a sinner. Were it not for the buffer of the Person of God we know as the Son or Jesus, we would be not just undone but destroyed.

I shall be moved to an immense “Thank you” once my salvation has arrived face to face with me, or rather me with it. The more one embraces the mind of Christ, the more one is going to SUFFER... and that’s something that our prides rebel against. Suffering shows that you’re a jerk, a nobody, a schmoe, you should be ashamed of what you did... well wait. Depends on how you got there. Jesus is the primary burden bearer, but He also appoints persons to be secondary burden bearers. To love the world so much by virtue of loving Him that they become Satan’s targets too.

Don’t even put the American Dream first. That’s materialistic, and the Lord warned not to put one’s faith in things where moth and rust destroy.
