It’s easy for Kasich to get on TV and to get fawning coverage. He supports Obamacare. He supported the “Assault Weapons” Ban and still does. He supports more restrictions on gun rights. He supports Amnesty. He says Christian bakers should bake a cake if someone wants it (whether or not they want to). On every issue, he’s a big government liberal, but journalists can pretend he’s a republican because he claims to be GOP.

Kasich is as much a republican as Jeb Bush’s Mexican cleaning lady, Ana Navarro.

"Still, the guy clearly thinks of himself as a national figure"

If O.J. Simpson shoves a 2x4 up his butt, that still won't make him a fudgsicle.

So he has a knack for getting on TV.

BFD.... There are a lot of low life’s on TV. So what?

That’s a meaningless point

Kasich is a sell out at best, and thinks it’s a good idea to destroy the economic engine that put the United States on the map.

Just about every Globalist have this clown bought out.

NO THANKS!....

Plus Kasich went too far in 2016 to hurt President Trump and help Hillary Clinton.

No way will I ever vote for him. He’s a Democrat with a R by his name.

Kasich is dhimmicrap-lite.

His conservative credentials are non-existent outside his own feeble mind.

Kasich is hated here in Ohio. the knack he has in getting on TV is the same one McKook had - trash the President. That’s why they put him on TV. He is going nowhere other than back to Wall Street.

He can certainly take the Jeb Bush approach and say for all time, he doesn’t need Republican votes to win.

it’s pretty obvious he’s planning on running a primary challenge against Trump in 2020.

When Kasich was younger, he was quite conservative. Now that he is older, he's quite liberal. Consider the adage popularized by Winston Churchill: "If you're young and not liberal, you have no heart. If you're old and not conservative, you have no brain."

It's obvious that Kasich has neither.

There real danger is what Kasich is trying to pull with the Ohio Republican Party Central committee. He’s trying to get Matt ‘the weasel’ Borges reinstalled as chair.
Needless to say, there’s resistance.

It’s bout this time that plans start being laid.

When an organization’s ground game controls a turf, it doesn’t matter who the candidate is. If the thousands of FReepers and thousands of Pro-Life activists and thousands of 2d Amendment activists and thousands of Tea Party and other conservative activists really want to win, they would build a ground game that did not depend on a candidate.

Of course, having a good candidate sure motivates the boots on the ground.

2018 primary should be used to build the boots on the ground, regardless of who the candidates are.

2018 final to score some points with victories for Senate and House in a few places.

2019 local off year elections to further build the ground game.

2020 Primaries to further build the ground game.

2020 Final to reap what we have sown.
