Thanks for posting.

God truly spared us from the dreaded hildabeast. If she had won she would have finished obozo’s work.

SES = Senior Executive Service.

It replaced the GS16 to GS18 levels of civil service ratings. The theory for its formation was that FedGov needed to have a cadre of skilled experienced “executives” all with the knowledge of all the “state-of-the-art management sciences”. These executives could be shifted from agency to agency wherever the “administrative crisis” might be, they would use their “state-of-art” management powers to solve the problem. It didn’t work when Carter actually tried it!

The reality is considerably less then the theory. Over time it created a self replicating cadre of sycophants and time servers. I guess it’s a feeble attempt to recreate the British “permanent secretary” civil service class (Think Sir Humphreys in Yes Minster and Yes, Prime Minister UK comedies!) It didn’t even recreate the “Chinese mandarin class”, at least there you advanced by taking tests in classical Chinese literature and history. You actually had to prove you knew something!

In my opinion its a miserable failure and they should go back to the GS16 - GS18 CS levels. Oh yes these “executives” do get performance bonuses, and as you would expect in typical US government Lake Woebegone thinking they count up the executive noses then divide that into the budget line total for bonuses and divvy it out. All executives are above average!

There’s nothing sinister about, being sinister is too much effort for most of these people.

The danger is it attracts socialist thinking drones who bring in others of similar thinking. Most of the time they’re too lazy to do anything harmful but on occasion there are exceptions like Lerner, McCabe, Strzlak, etc. Most of that problem could solved if they actually enforced the Hatch Act and disbanded FedGov unions. When the GOP is in power they give lip service to the Hatch Act, when Rats are in power, its “what’s a Hatch Act?”

Sorry, but this is one of my major pet peeves (and it is a rule of good use of English).

The other is people who post extracts specific to a city or geographic region without identifying the state "somewhere" in the excerpt or title. There several states which have cities of the same name.

All SES civil servants that existed during the Obama regime need to go.

Sympathetic, but there would be no legal basis for it.

The SES is full of affirmative action employees and the rest the stupidest White People on Earth.

Its nothing but an elite club, that gets more Goodies than the GS bunch does.

SES were supposed to go from agency to agency to be “experts” but most stay right where they are until they retire.

The very first post in comments section, which I believe contradicts your assertion:

J. Patterson - 1 day ago

I’m a civil service employee. An engineer. I actually do work. The SES people brought in after odumbo was installed have caused havoc. A lady, of particular color, with a mail order Ph.D. now runs the show where I’m at. She came in to my directorate and began causing chaos. Moving managers from job to job to job. Demoting white males, promoting minorities as they are called and females. After she trashed my directorate she was promoted to director of the entire operation. All I’m going to say is this is US Army. It’s a VERY important area. She will derail the whole base if left in place. Since there is zero stability in management via rotations happening every 3 to 6 month

No argument from me there!

Trump says he is going to introduce major civil service reforms. I hope he does!

The first thing that has to be acknowledged is the government sector is inherently different from the commercial sector. There are some superficial similarities, both an apple and an orange are roughly round, but that’s abut it. They’re both necessary but they are not the same!

If the government needs professional expertise in anything, then obtain it on a temporary basis from private firms - don't create more government. When government expands it inevitably and progressively becomes less accountable and beyond the founding principles of checks and balances.

To some extent yes.

However I am convinced that government & commerce are inherently different. A proper and necessary action or solution in one can have the polar opposite effect in the other.

For example government doesn’t go out of business. If it fails to deliver it usually gets more resources. It is directly effected by politics. (yes businesses are too nowadays but not as directly!)

The SES IS the deep state. One of the yourubers I subscribe to has been laying it all out. It must be dismantled.

I would take that as far as any Executive Schedule employees as well.

Whatever. If the effect is to cultivate and PERPETUATE a permanent ruling class of apparatchiks - and it is - it is a distinction without a difference!

>>I pray everyday for America.<<

.
Very noble and patriotic of you. The problem with America is that it is also the home of people who voted for Obama TWICE and would do it again if given the chance. Even God cannot rid America of traitors when America itself does not see the need to do so.

I don’t believe what you’re saying.

For one thing your comment “being sinister is too much effort” is inaccurate. While it’s true many don’t want to make extra efforts, these lazy bureaucrats are 100% supportive of the elites in government who are actively and deliberately sinister.
