The Democrats have nothing new to offer. What they do offer is higher taxes, more welfare, more immigration (open borders) and more regulation on businesses.
All of these policies have failed.
President Trump offers lower taxes, less regulation, less immigration (closed the borders) and his policies are working to improve the life of the Average American.
Now a left leaning Democrat will win California and New York but everything else is up for grabs.
The mid terms will be a clue on which direction the voters are leaning.
