Doesn't matter, I lied on every question. Used it about three days.....years and years ago.
Ska-rew FB.
Never did FB, never will.
I intitially observed it. I thought it could be a good medium for friends to exchange info on social events, etc.
Then I started seeing posts like “I’ve had to change my baby’s diapers four times today”, complete with photos.
I didn’t need that information, and I still try to figure out the motivation behind posting such things. I can see how a new mom would communicate such information to her mother, but why post it to the world?
Then I saw the politics start to come in, and we see what happened with that.
About 40% of Americans don’t use FB, I’m glad I’m in that group.
I admit I’m old-fashioned. I use the telephone, email and snail mail to connect socially.
Same here. I told them I was a Japanese cartoon character. I deleted the account after a few weeks when I decided it wasn't safe. This was several years ago. At that time, there was a scandal where the government of Iran was using Freakbook to track down relatives (still in Iran) of Iranian expatriates in the U.S. Freakbook was also leaking photos of Iranian women who had declared their photos private. This is apparently a big no-no in Islam.
