Very unfortunate. For many years Taylor Swift carefully avoided political statements, recognizing that a majority of her fanbase were Country or Country-Rock listeners, and were likely to have Conservative political leanings. She maintained a "I'm Just Going To Shut Up And Sing" position, which I and a lot of others respected.

Now she's gone and trashed that support.

I won't throw away my TS recordings -- after all, she is a very talented artist whose music I enjoy -- but I won't be buying any more.

Oh well, Bye, Taylor.
