Equal protection under the law [must be satire]

Posted on 03/25/2018 2:15:37 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this liberal logic. It's been proven over and over again that the police can't protect you when a psychopath enters a gun-free killing zone with murder on his pea-sized brain. They can't get there in time and even if they do, it's often too little, too late, or they're just too afraid to enter the building while there's an active killer on the rampage.

The government cannot or will not protect you. So the liberals put big signs on the school house doors saying, "This is a gun-free zone. No guns allowed!"

Then, after that fails to stop the criminally insane, they say they have to take the guns away from the law-abiding citizens, too. This way, we'll all be equally unsafe and none of us will be able to defend ourselves or our children from the next rampaging psychopathic killer or killers who start shooting. Or from the next Marxist/fascist dictatorial government when they take over after the people are completely defenseless (it's not like this hasn't happened in recent history, though they don't teach that to our children in government schools anymore).

But you can bet that criminals and murdering psychopaths will always be able to acquire or fabricate weapons to carry out their nightmarish dreams. After guns, they'll have to ban knives, axes, machetes, bombs, chemicals, trucks, cars, planes. Hmmmm, well, they've already outlawed bombs, but that does't stop the bombers. And that kinda highlights the point.

And, of course, they refuse to arm anyone at the school, or even provide sufficient armed security guards. But I guess most available security guards are already employed, guarding the really important people in Capitol buildings, court houses and other government buildings or guarding movie stars and other important gun-grabbing limousine liberals. Not enough money in the budget to protect everyone, so we'll have to ration protection to only the really important people, ie, to those who are more equal than others.

And we (the adults) will get used to the idea over time. After all, our God-given constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bears arms has been declared out-dated and no longer necessary by our fresh-faced, and freshly brainwashed, all-knowing children. Father forgive them, for they truly know not what they do.

You have committed logic, which is unforgivable to liberals; therefore, they will accuse you of extremism, xenophobia, whiteness, and racism for good measure.

While many of them “know not what they do”, quite a few of them actually do know. Those are the ones I really worry about.

The more intelligent leftists know that gun control will do little against crime and will probably make most people less safe from violence. Their goal is to disarm the average citizen and then impose communism.

Yep, your piece is the personification of liberal logic and that logic is more screwed up than Hogan’s Goat.

I’d be willing to bet the ninnies going on and on about guns triggered the bomber into proving how wrong they are and that anything can kill. Of course, we’ll never hear about it if he did.

Jim, it’s the ideology of the Left that schools are up against, but you knew that. There’s no logic or reason to them.

We have a President, for the first time in a generation, who sees that schools must be hardened.

To get reform, our corrupt Congress needs a major cleaning with prosecutions and hard time.

We’re at a time in history where unfortunately harsh measures are in order.

You gotta love the leftists who protest that the police are a bunch of “fascists” (usually after the police arrest or shoot a violent criminal), and then the leftists say that only the police should have guns!

Libtard logic is emotionalism. It makes them feel good inside to ban guns even if it doesn't do any good. Making themselves feel good inside is all that matters to them.

While perfectly capable of doing harm, the buckets of rocks are not very effective unless expertly thrown or slung.

Note the recent references to new Army recruits not being able to throw well enough to even get grenades on target.

The gunmen are safe.

The bucket of rocks is for when the killer is in the room with you having passed whatever security your school may or may not have. Better to throw rocks at him than wait to be killed. My school sent us to a training put on by the local sheriff—it is called A.L.I.C.E. Alert, Locate, Inform, Counter, Evacuate. The idea being that the intruder alert is given, the intruder located, his location broadcast, anyone near takes counter measures, anyone distant evacuates. But, we were taught, if he gets in the room with you, rather than cower under desks, you attack him (since he’s going to kill you if you don’t). So, books, desks, chairs, hot coffee, (or rocks!) are used. Then rush him. Better to die fighting than hiding.

One more case ... from the 1800’s

Legal authority in the United States that there is no liability for the failure to protect individuals by law enforcement officers generally is accepted as originating in South v. Maryland,

I can take you, right now to Twitter feeds, Facebook memes, Youtube videos, Instagram pics, etc of Antifa thugs threatening to beat up, attack, bully and harass me and my family.

Threats against your fellow citizens are illegal.
Threats against your fellow web users are against most TOS.

Yet the threats stay up.
And are reposted by my “friends”.
And are praised by liberal politicians.
And are highlighted by fawning media types.

Now the Antifa wants to disarm people like me.
