Possible Coordination Between CIA, FBI, Obama WH, Dem Officials Early In Trump-Russia Probe
Fox News ^ | 3-28-2018 | Brooke Singman

Newly uncovered text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest a possible coordination between high-ranking officials at the Obama White House, CIA, FBI, Justice Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in the early stages of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, according to GOP congressional investigators on Wednesday.

Republican investigators provided documents to Fox News which -- they say -- “strongly suggest” coordination between former President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan —which they say would “contradict” the Obama administration’s public stance about its hand in the process.

Page texted Strzok on Aug. 2, 2016, saying: “Make sure you can lawfully protect what you sign. Just thinking about congress, foia, etc. You probably know better than me.”

A text message from Strzok to Page on Aug. 3 described former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as being concerned with “information control” related to the initial investigation into the Trump campaign. According to a report from the New York Times, Brennan was sent to Capitol Hill around the same time to brief members of Congress on the possibility of election interference.

Days later, on Aug. 8, 2016, Strzok texted Page: “Internal joint cyber cd intel piece for D, scenesetter for McDonough brief, Trainor [head of FBI cyber division] directed all cyber info be pulled. I’d let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before the Wed WH session.”

In the texts, “D” referred to FBI Director James Comey, and and “McDonough” referred to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, the GOP investigators said.

Yes, but Sessions announcement of the committee will be very strongly worded. And, his chosen committee chairman, Rod Rosenstein will echo that sentiment.

“And Sleepy snores on...”

AG Sessions already appointed a DOJ prosecutor from outside the Swamp to work with the DOJ IG Michael Horowitz. Grand jury is already empaneled. Indictments have been flowing.

When they are released in the first wave, we promise to wake you and your FRiends here out of the comas you’ve been in attacking the Patriots who put it on the line for this Republic.

Or arise now and enjoy the show. Curtain goes up in April.

“Why have Strzok and his mistress Page not been arrested and under fired?”

Are they singing????

Singing, or no, you keep the matches w/ the known fire-bug.

Texts alone prove they were using their positions nefarious means. They should have been canned day ONE.

I doubt it. Dems very rarely ever turn on their own; they'd sooner give their firstborn to a band of gypsies than say or do anything to damage their beloved Party.

Kind of interesting how much of this goes back to the FBI. Seems every shooter in the last few years has a one degree of separation from them...

Makes you wonder.

While they remain employed they are required to answer questions posed to them by the IG. If there is an internal criminal investigation under way as is suggested by Sessions, then they see how they would fare in pleas and have a great deal of incentive to give the IG everything he asks for. Because their texts are so revealing, they are totally trapped.

Now, if they were fired, a whole different set of circumstances come into play. They can clam up, get lawyers and refuse to answer, take the fifth. An outside special counsel has to be hired, file subpoenas, argue in court, yada yada. See how long Mueller is taking? Do you think, being fired, Comey and McCabe are doing anything to help?

Anyway those are the legal strategies involved for what it is worth.

Because, if they are released from the DOJ, the IG cannot access them.

Wow. All that would make for a great TV melodrama.

‘Cuz, I don’t know about you, but I’m going to say those IT guys (Cankles and DWS) show what’s going to bad the *worst* they’ll get, once the lawlessness is swept under the rug by D.C.

Sing like song-birds, but if the final push isn’t made it’s all for naught.

Still waiting for F&F, Holder, Comey (leaking), pallets of $$$, illegal e-mail servers, Huma/Weiner w/ emails....

Amid Pressure From Sessions And Republicans, The DOJ's Internal Watchdog Opens Investigation Into Surveillance Of Trump Aide

IMO, not much of a 'watchdog' if they have to be pressured to look into this criminal behavior.

It has been blatantly obvious that this went on, and that Sleepy Jeff Sessions has been slow walking any investigation into impropriety by the Democrats...

It took sleepy an entire year to INITIATE something on FISA abuse after a federal court had ruled that the FBI abused the process. All it takes is a news report to get an immediate investigation into FaceBook, but a federal court ruling takes an entire year to initiate...two tiered justice under Sessions
