A funny thing happened to Walmart during the past five years: The retailer -- known for its Arkansas roots and its red-state appeal -- has made inroads with left-leaning shoppers.
A majority of shoppers who identify as Democrats now say they would consider shopping at Walmart, a shift from just five years ago when slightly more than four out of 10 said they would buy from the store. Democrats also say they now view Walmart in a positive light, while five years ago their perception was negative.
Walmart has also increased its workers' pay and spoken out against anti-gay laws, leading the LGBT magazine The Advocate to remark on Walmart's "transformation into an LGBT ally."
"It is unusual to see a brand improve with one political party while maintain its ratings with another political party," Marzilli said. "It's a hard feat to pull off."

Unlike Target, Walmart is far more neutral in the culture wars. I believe they prefer to stay out of it as much as possible.
When it comes to legal issues, I believe they do what they have to do.

Wal-Mart is avoiding the local State Human Rights Tribunals that function in all if not most states and that sue the heck out of anyone who does not follow leftist pieties.

Lawyers are destroying this nation. Most the PC nonsense and racial issues are fueled by lawyers. We’ve allowed common-sense to be thrown out the window for their gain.
We’ve got more than 10x the lawyers we would ever need. They don’t produce anything. They so often create a lot of non-sense just to grab a cut.

Lefties starting to like Walmart? Geez, as long as they shunned it I knew they wouldn’t be able to ruin it like they ruin everything else they touch.
When they market the idea of tranny rights to suburban white women they always show someone who had hormones starting at age 11 and has been essentially chemically forced through a female puberty, looks like real girl and is wearing a nice dress. "Oh dear, the poor thing can't use a men's room of course! Why, she has boobs after all! Ooh, those eyebrows are on fleek, I wonder how she does them?"
But what I've seen since this movement has taken off has been fat men in hot pants, fishnets and high heels walking around the city. Because that is what 99% of trannies really look like, a freakish caricature of a streewalker. But like the gays got temporarily rid of the feather boas, a**-less chaps and the nun costumes so they could look normal long enough to win white suburban women over, only "girly" trannies can be seen on TV. Reality is quite different.
I once worked with a guy who railed against Wal-Mart for being a monopoly and putting small, local stores out of business, said he HATED them. But, he also admitted he regularly shopped at Wal-Mart because nobody else could match their price on diapers and other baby products. He said he hated them even more for “forcing” him to choose between his values and his budget. It was hilarious.
