Our Time-Tested Parties Aren't About to Fall Apart

Gee, that's too bad.

If the Bush League Republicans will not give up control of the GOP to deplorables, we will found a new party that stands with the citizens and the rule of law.

Both parties CANNOT be for illegal aliens going forward as they have for the past 30 years.

The problem is that our “time-tested parties” have merged into a single, DC UniParty, focused entirely on themselves, and the chess pool that is Washington DC. Constituents need not apply.

Barone is delusional.
The Uber-Left has had their taste of power and they are determined to get it back.
CA-OR-WA is the new bastion of power for the RATS.

It all began 20 years ago with the radicalization of the Green Nazis known as ELF.
To them, blowing up a building to save the Earth is the right thing.

The problem for Kasich and others who want to form their own party is that there’s no base of voters to support them. Sure, they could have plenty of big names running and supporting the party, but who’s going to vote for them? It won’t be steelworkers in Ohio, or Southern Baptists. Maybe, perhaps, rich types who live in the Northeast and West Coast - but then that will just weaken the Democrat Party, which, of course, they don’t want either.

The founders hated parties.

Time-tested

So were horse and buggies, medical bleeding, and dunking witches. It’s amazing how we enjoy freedom of choice in ever increasing parts of our lives, yet remain chained to Manichean yes/no choice in political parties.

That is sad.
I’d like to see both of them go away.
Thinks would be lot better if it were Libertarians vs. The Constitution Party...

I respect Michael Barone. But I respect the concept of the Black Swan even more. Who could have foreseen the rise of Donald Trump?

The one bit in this essay that got my riled up was the bit about church going black folks being part of the Democratic Party coalition. This is an accurate statement, but I wonder how long it can last. I despair on some days. I think some of the biggest fools in the country are "liberal" Christians. They don't seem to realize that they are allied, politically, with Satan's servants. Eventually, they are to be cast aside too.
