Trump needs to deploy the Army in front of this “Immigrant Caravan”, which is to say, “invasion”. That is the Army’s job.
They should string concertina wire and post riflemen for a hundred miles on either side of the expected point of incursion. Then when the “caravan” diverts one way or the other, they can add another hundred miles and more riflemen.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
Once they have gone coast-to-coast, the President can declare the Border Wall complete, and we can shift the debate to improving the border wall.

Agree. On DACA, I think a pretty easy/safe compromise would be to let any stay who don’t have police records and aren’t on some type of welfare. 95% of them will disqualify themselves in a matter of a few years. If they don’t, then their probably contributing.

1) Return to service-oriented economy (education, h’care, etc.) = pay upon services rendered.
