The author of the article is a particularly vile and loathsome psedu intellectual who is so much smarter than us ordinary mortals. The Federalist is a Nevr Trump dirtbag rag like Weakly Standard and its degenerate boss kristol.

Very stupid article if you read it.

Yes, it was. The author thinks he/they provide "intellectual leadership", lol.

Vote for Leah in the primaries. If she does not win, it is critical that you help the veteran. Democrats win because their coalition of voters doesn’t fracture. There is no reason to hand this seat to a Democrat who won’t vote with the president 100% of the time when a Republican would vote for at least some of the administration’s priorities and prevent Schumer from being the leader of the Senate and controlling judicial appointments. Voters in WI need to look at the big picture.

I get that people are frustrated. The time for that is over. Now we need to mobilize and organize the base to get out the vote in November.

I totally get the frustration with National Review. We still need conservatives like them not to be even more alienated and not vote in November. The Democrats have an advantage because we all have at least one issue that makes us not want to vote for Republicans. The goal of the Democrats is to get in power and then impeach the president. President Trump is telling us to vote for Republicans. We need to listen to him. It would be impossible for him to continue to fund the wall, limit spending, and get conservatives on the courts with Democrats in power. Guess who controls the bills that come to the floor? If you think it’s bad now, wait until Democrats get the House and the president is a lame duck or has to move to the left because people just don’t want to be bothered to vote. I don’t mean to be harsh, but a lot more is at stake in this election than not getting 100% of what we want.

Thanks for this. Don’t get discouraged, Freepers. We need to get organized and start helping these candidates even if it isn’t through the campaigns.

You missed one point. Dems vote for their people because they will vote for leftist causes once in office. Our people will side with the Dems. We have also played the long game, and very patiiently. John McCain has been in office since 1986. Those Tea Party people were easily co-opted. Then the Gopers tell us to back the party and we do. Dems don’t have that. They get what they vote for. We get betrayed.

You are preaching to the choir. The repubs deserve to be defeated because they are totally captive of the business open borders anti immigration enforcement lobby of the US chamber of commerce. BUT, not voting for the gop means the truly evil dems will come to power. The best solution is to primary the gop never trumpers and then elect the repubs in the general election. Unfortunately, very few times are incumbents defeated in the primary.

The real, challenge in nov is how many trump supporters fail to vote. But they should because he has done much of what he promised. And the alternative is totally unacceptable.

Won a Senate race in the Reddest State in the country

That was a classic "Ted Stevens" op.

The GOPee side of the Uniparty rolls over every time when the Democommies go to the mats. They're trying to get the numbers close so they aren't as embarrassed as they were after the election - having the numbers but doing nothing.

...in my experience, that usually led right-leaning writers to debate their differences on the issues, rather than just arguing about the man. Yet that’s what we’re doing with Trump. He has a remarkable talent for needlessly pitting former allies against one another in internecine battles.
IOW the nitwit writer blames Trump.

You put it better than me.

The Dem’s vote for the Party, no matter what. The only time they buck the, Party, is when they can and it wont’ mean anything. They have to meet with their leadership to get permission. Almost like going to the, Heads of the Five Families, to get permission to whack a ‘made man’.

It’s like the guy in Pennsylvania. If anyone thinks he really believes what he said, they’re insane. He was given permission to campaign in the “center”. And will be allowed to vote in the “center”, because his votes won’t change anything. But, when he gets in there for good, game over, my friend.

For as insane and evil as the Dem party and it’s personnel are, they are loyal to the cause.

We get betrayed.....I don’t think truer words can be used to describe what happens to us. Which is one of the reasons that I have no faith in voters in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Dakota, Texas, North Carolina, Colorado, and a whole lot of other places. Those people send the same tired, backstabbing puppets back time and time again, expecting different results. What harm would it be to give someone else a try? They may end up being decent, like Perdue, in Georgia. There’s a 50/50 chance with the new person. With the old, we’re all just waiting to get bent over. Not a matter of, IF, a matter of, WHEN.

You know that.

I know that.

Everybody that is on FR and takes the time to post and is aware of what is going on, knows that.

Why can’t the people of Alabama know that? Why can’t the people of Pennsylvania, know that?

So frustrating to know that we’re so close. So close to the edge, where it’s all over. Or, so close to getting this country back.

“Why can’t we get our act together and back our great president?”

If the MSM and Rats remained opposed to Trump that almost would be tolerable. But when his own party in opposes and thwarts him every step of the way, that’s despicable. Imagine where our country would be now if they did the job they were hired to do. There’s a special place in Hell for them.

“The Dem’s vote for the Party, no matter what”

The “what” in the case of those who do not is the Trotsky treatment as in they get death by political ice picks.

Lowry gave up trying to destroy Trump from the outside and is now trying to weasel his way to the inside to destroy him from within.

It would take an absolute fool to trust Lowry or his conversion.

Glad to have them onboard, but it will take time to trust them.

I just listened to a former NeverTrumper on Chicago radio this morning and he ranted against Trump’s lack of fact sourcing when saying massive numbers of rapes were occurring with illegals coming here (Dan Proft). A caller a while later provided the source, which was something like Amnesty International. That simply made the host rant that Trump could be more credible with everyone if he took the time to detail where he gets his “wild” ideas from. He then went on to say Ted Cruz does that and Trump should be much more like Cruz.

Makes me vomit. Do you dang homework and see for yourself the sources Trump uses. Idiots, all.

It is the “allies” who are doing the fighting, because they feel they must have the control.
