Deported? How long will it take him to sneak back in?

OK, so who has the gun? Was there actually a gun? An AR 15 is still out there thinking about it?

It’s a little harder to sneak in from China than from Mexico.

Sounds like a DACA dreamer to me.
We need to send these little nightmares back home

Syracuse University has as huge population of Chinese students, somewhere around 1,500 at any one time.

noting that Zhan was not a U.S. citizen but was here legally on a student visa. ... which allowed him to possess a gun as a non-citizen
That should be changed ASAP.

Yet another person who is very lucky to not be a US citizen.

Should tourists be allowed to possess a gun?
To: jalisco555
"...deported to China..."
At least we know this potential killer is likely in prison or dead now.

Deported? How long will it take him to sneak back in?If the Chinese don't send him back to make trouble, they'll send him back to the organ re-processing factory.

This is a very strange story......Chinese and Mexican ties. Student who openly says he wants to kill people
Some details seem to be left out.....was he hospitalized? How long in Mexico? Are his friends in Mexico still there? Syracuse quickly expels him? How does that work? Johnny on the spot with visa revocation? That’s unusual. Immediately deported?? That’s really unusual
Something about this doesn’t smell right

Should tourists be allowed to possess a gun?
Sure, if they're US citizens.

Not any more
Chinese have been coming in through Mexico in droves over the last five or so years. Used to be Canada. That’s changed

What about non US citizens coming to the US on hunting trips?
To: Nifster
I assume the Mexico angle only had to do with spring break. I’m just glad everyone acted quickly to get the guy out of the country.
