Meanwhile, Jeff Sessions is alarmingly unconcerned. If Jeff doesn't want to defend the Constitution, then why did he want to be AG?

That's a good question. Upon reflection, recalling his swearing in (which I watched on TV) he was beaming when he took the office. I think as a young prosecutor he became enamored with the idea of being the attorney general. Just having the title, going in the history books as THE attorney general. I see no evidence that he really wants to do the work, he just wanted the satisfaction of having the title. The last thing he wants is to spoil that by getting into the middle of a political fight. So he sits on the sidelines and hopes it all blows over somehow so he can stay in the history books without a bunch of explanation that he was "Tainted" by some partisan fight. Just my guess why the guy took the job which he apparantly wants very much to not do.

Here is a statement I found somewhere else:

“Dershowitz was a frequent flyer on Lolita and shamed all the victims in the Epstein court proceedings. No wonder he speaks in POTUS defense these days.”

I would say that you could expect zero exposure of Clinton on this matter if it would take down one of the Presidents men in the process. So keep that in mind if Dershowitz gets the job.

You are correct. And at this moment, at this particular point in, time what we need is someone who is passionate about the Constitution and the Law.

Both of those things, Dershowitz has. Don’t look for purists now, we just need someone who recognizes the fact that something major has happened.

Remember when one of the top liberal goals was to get Dishwasher onto the Supreme Court? I wonder if he would be blocked now by those same libs?

As much as Dershowitz is aggravating

He could be of help

He’s bright and has prestige

Just don’t bring up Epstein

This is a very dangerous day today for lawyer-client relations. I deal with clients all the time. I tell them on my word of honor all the time that what you tell me is sacrosanct. And now they say, just based on probable cause, even though they know there was cooperation, with Cohen. They can burst into an office grab all the computers. Then give it to another FBI agent and say, “You’re the firewall. We want you to now read all these confidential communications. Tell us which ones we can get and which ones we can’t get.” You know, if the shoe were on the other foot, if this were Hillary Clinton being investigated and they went in her lawyer’s office the ACLU would be on every television station in America, jumping up and down. The deafening silence of the ACLU and civil libertarians about the intrusion into the lawyer-client confidentiality is appalling.
Thanks ethom.

Lets see now who is Alan Dershowitz?

Is he a lifelong slimeball lawyer representing people like Jeffery Epstein all for fame and fortune? Even riding on the Miss Lolita with Epstien, the ultimate pedpophile, numerous times?

And who knows what else, since Dershowitz is being sued by one of the women on the plane.

Did he befriend Hillary Clinton and other a holls on the left for most of his life? Did he assist the lawyers for OJ Simpson? A man who without a doubt who "cut the head off of his wife and killed her boy friend".

Now he wants his reputation back. Maybe the Illuminati he works for suggested he needed to clean up his act. Maybe they didn't want anything reflecting back on him.

Since we know he already know Dershowitz befriends one of the Rothschilds enough to solicit charitable funds from her for Harvard, his school.

.......................................

"Dershowitz has attempted to paint himself as a mere passing acquaintance of Epstein, suggesting to the American Lawyer last week that he only began hanging around the billionaire to fund raise for his school, Harvard.

Q. From what I’ve read, your relationship with Epstein seemed chummy. You socialized with him and you and your family stayed at his various homes. Isn’t it a bad idea for a lawyer to be so close to a notorious client?

A. Let me tell you how I met him. I was introduced to him by red flag gifLady de Rothschild red flag gifas an academic colleague.

academic colleague??

why gif

He was friendly with Larry Summers… He was in the process of contributing $50 million to Harvard for evolutionary biology.

Evolutionism Is Unable To Become A Validated Theory As It Cannot Breach The Second Law Of Thermodynamics Nor Informational Entropy.

Epstein did indeed pledge a substantial donation to Harvard’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, though it was $30 million, not $50 million. The first installment of $6.5 million was announced in 2003.

And Epstein was indeed friendly with Summers, who assumed the mantle of president at Harvard in July 2001.

The clear implication of Dershowitz’s answer is that he didn’t start hanging out with Epstein until it was in his interest to, because Epstein was the boss’ friend and was donating money to his university.

What’s more, Dershowitz told the American Lawyer, he is loyal to his wife, who is always by his side:

“I’ve been married to the same woman for 28 years. She goes with me everywhere. People know that I won’t argue a case or give a speech unless my wife travels with me. This is not the profile of someone who screws around.”

Sure tell that to Petraeus, Clinton, Gore, Edwards etc etc

https://politicalvelcraft.org/2015/02/05/flight-logs-put-clinton-dershowitz-on-pedophile-billionaires-sex-jet/

Here's more:

• Dershowitz also said of Epstein: “I’m on my 20th book. . . . The only person outside my immediate family that I send drafts to is Jeffrey.”

[Sounds pretty chummy to me Alan, unless it depends upon a different interpretation of what the word chummy (could be) or (IS) in legalese eh?]

Asked how those comments tracked with his more recent portrayal of his relationship with Epstein, Dershowitz said simply:

“He was a friend with whom I talked about ideas. We never discussed women or his social life.”

If Dershowitz was a good friend to Epstein, he was a better lawyer.

Along with a dream team of attorneys that included Gerald Lefcourt, Roy Black, and Ken Starr, he was successful in getting federal investigators not to charge Epstein with moving his victims across state lines and other associated crimes.

The federal non-prosecution agreement Epstein’s legal team negotiated with the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida immunized all named and unnamed “potential co-conspirators” in Epstein’s child trafficking network, which includes those who allegedly procured minors for Epstein and also any power-brokers who may have molested them.

Although Dershowitz wasn’t a signatory to the plea agreement, the latest filings in Roberts’s case against Epstein accuse Dershowitz of essentially negotiating his own immunity:

Dershowitz would later play a significant role in negotiating the NPA on Epstein’s behalf.

Indeed, Dershowitz helped negotiate an agreement that provided immunity from federal prosecution in the Southern District of Florida not only to Epstein, but also to “any potential co-conspirators of Epstein”. . . .

Thus, Dershowitz helped negotiate an agreement with a provision that provided protection for himself against criminal prosecution in Florida for sexually abusing Jane Doe #3.

[Alan Alan Alan]

Dershowitz says the self-immunity accusation is preposterous, and that while he negotiated its broad outlines, he never read the agreement and wasn’t involved in drafting the language.

NO MORE CHUMMY CHUMMY ALAN?

NO MORE CHUMMY CHUMMY ALAN?

Besides, he says, “If I had had sex with Virginia Roberts, which I didn’t, I wouldn’t be a co-conspirator, I’d be a perpetrator,” and thus not immune under the agreement, he told Gawker.

“I did not know this woman, I did not touch this woman, and the entire story is made up out of whole cloth.”

Dershowitz has pledged to seek disbarment of Roberts’s attorneys, which include the respected former federal judge Paul Cassell, telling the American Lawyer:

“Either [Cassell] will be disbarred or I will be. And if I knowingly had sex with a sex slave then I would deserve disbarment.”

Flight Logs Put Clinton, Dershowitz on Pedophile Billionaire’s Sex Jet

.......................

If Alan Dershowitz is going to be Trump's latest lawyer I suggest he do a little more research into the guys past a little bit better than he has.

Exactly! Duschowitz wants his rep back. If he can use Donald Trump who obviously has problems picking the right people from time to time, he will do it in a heartbeat.
Dershowitz has already befriended the naive conservative talkers and others on the right, why not the potus. The ultimate coup to getting ones rep back.

“Trump is known for good hires”

Trump used to be known for good hires. That was in his business world. Now... not so much. Not his fault. He didn’t know the depth of the slime in the political swamp. It’s not WYSIWYG as in business. The whole underlying layer going on in most politicians’ agendas probably was a surprise to him.

Sadly you are correct.Trump is having trouble adjusting to hiring political types vs. hiring people who get the job done. It is a very different world.

“Nope He is for letting the hag walk.

Yes he is. He can’t say often enough that she did nothing wrong. He can’t say often enough that he voted for her. He can’t say often enough how she’s being treated unfairly by conservatives. He conflates her major crimes to small things which may or may not have been done by the right.

If PDJT considers offering AD a job, he’d better reach in to his jacket pocket, pull out “The Snake”, and read it several times first.

Exactly! Here we have a man who is insanely close to one of the most corrupt criminals alive today Hillary Clinton.A person who engages in pedophilia, the drug trade, so many other criminal acts you can't imagine from giving away our uranium to Russia to her own corrupt and
chareity which had to be closed down it was so corrupt.
Add in assisting lawyers who were defending a known murderer and a pedophile who Dershowitz “just had to connect with while writing his books.”
WTH kind of Harvard law professor is this guy?
None of his colleagues are worthy of a call when he's writing his book? He has to call Epstein?
IF this guy isn't dirty trying to clean up using our side I don't know what is happening.

I consider it highly unlikely that Dershowitz would accept.

If he does he will secure a promise from Trump not to pursue any legal action against Hillary. Bet on it.

Alan once said, all my clients are guilty otherwise they wouldn't hire me.

To argue that the Clintons should be exempt from accountability for their real crimes is to say that they are truly above the law, and that the rule of law is dead in America. Yet that is Dershowitz’s position.

Wow two of us have noticed that. I have been saying that for weeks and getting cr@pped on for the effort.
