Boy if the GOPs stupid refusal to do anything with their majority results in the dems taking it back, I really hope they are dumb enough to put Pelosi back in chage. Do it!

Charlie Rangel as Ways and Means Committee Chairman was a nightmare. His proposal of a ‘surcharge tax’ on high income was the beginning of the Financial Crisis. The Congress did nothing to stop the fiasco because they could blame it ALL on President Bush (an easy target).

A few indictments here, a military tribunal there, with a small cell in Gitmo to top it all off should make for an interesting midterm.

The best thing the Republicans can do is have Ryan step down as Speaker and a replacement be installed. That way there is a clear contrast between House Speakers and people know who they are voting for when they elect their representatives.

Of course the Republicans in Congress almost never follow the best course of action.

This comes out of the mouth of the seventh richest person in Congress, whose estimated wealth is $191 million.

Speaking of things coming out of her mouth, with all her millions, can she not afford Polident?

$191 million is a lot of money for someone who has never held an honest job in her entire life.

Was Pelosi the Democrat who warned that 70 BILLION people would die, if the Trump tax cuts were passed?

Who’s going to stand in her way?? Yes, she’s a demented old bat, but she’s still a very powerful one. She’ll be very tough to keep out of the Speaker’s chair.

I hope it doesn’t happen, but given that she’s now clearly demented, it could be entertaining.
Instead of merely term limits, we probably need a score of term years combined with age...some of these codgers need put out to pasture, about a decade or two ago.

Well there it is - people sit hone in 2018 thinking that they will show those do nothing globalist establishment so called conservative Republican swamp creatures in both the Senate and the House who who.

Little realizing or just to dumb to understand that the Democrat House will vote to impeach DJT (their hero and savior of the Republic), while all the printed papers, most of the cable news shows will talk impeachment nonstop until there is an actual vote, and then on to the Democrat Senate where Conviction and Removal will be sure thing. Even if that does not happen DJT will be terribly weakened and unable to either run or win if he does.

All because too many Conservative/Republicans imagined that some good would come of their putting their collective heads in the sand like they did in elections past, which resulted in a second Obama term and all the dire consequences that resulted. Many here propose to repeat the same mistake again.

But like Liberals, they will feel emotionally better for having held their principles high ... even though it means the loss of a 2nd DJT term and the loss of the 1st and 2nd Amendments as well.

Along the way Pense will follow DJT out of the door, and then amid a Constitutional Crisis as big as the US Civil War, the Democrat Speaker of the House will be sworn into the Presidency ...

Conservative/Republican response? “We’ll show them next time ...” Little understanding that there will be no ‘next time’ ... just Auschwitz

Pelosi is not Will Rogers: “When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.” ― Will Rogers

And as speaker she demanded her G3 (I think that’s the right model) be replaced by a G5 so she could fly to California almost every week end without having to refuel. She also had a $100,000 liquor bill every year if I remember correctly.
