Michael Cohen, president Trump’s personal lawyer, again on Saturday denied that he ever traveled to Prague during the 2016 election, as alleged in ex-British spy Christopher Steele’s dossier funded by the Democratic Party.
Mr. Cohen tweeted in response to a McClatchy News story that said specialcounsel Robert Mueller has evidence that he traveled to Prague in August 2016. The dossier said he went there to meet with Vladimir Putin aides to supposedly discuss covering up Russian-Trump hacking into Democratic Party computers.
Mr. Cohen has testified repeatedly under oath, and thus under the penalty of perjury, that he never made such a trip. He has filed a libel suit against BuzzFeed, which published the dossier.
He tweeted on Saturday: “Bad reporting, bad information and bad story by same reporter Peter Stone @McClatchyDC. No matter how many times or ways they write it, I have never been to Prague. I was in LA with my son. Proven!”

I’ll be shocked if anything from this raid ever is heard in court. It was nothing but a calculated maneuver. It dares Trump to act - which is a win for Mueller, it may produce evidence that can be used to pressure all parties concerned - also a win for mooseface, and it’s a preemptive strike to the IG reports on McCabe and ‘collusion’.
These Stalinist tactics are also a warning to anyone in the future who considers running for office from outside of the swamp. ....we will ruin you and anyone who works with you. Scary.

Then if Cohen was not in Prague, disbar Mueller and force him to resign his special prosecutor post as he will no longer be a valid attorney.
It is time to double down and play hardball with Mueller.
He was not stunned at Comey for making such an allegation against a sitting president.

Yep - dropped my subscription to the local paper years ago after McClatchy bought it out - became really tough for conservatives to get their opinions on the "Sound Off" page...
Note my use of the word “supposedly”......I didn’t say he wrote the check out of campaign funds. One of the reasons given for the raid on Cohen’s office was to DETERMINE if the money was paid out of campaign funds.
And yes, I usually do get my information from news reports. Where do you get yours? What’s the other source of reporting ANYTHING that happens?
