It has been a very tough week. Watching people like Alex Jones come unhinged/profane was more than enough for me. I am really getting fed up with Rand Paul as well. He is not supporting Mike Pompeo for SS.

Morning AB, All. As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably and keeping the peace with gentle thread policing. Thank you Bray for weekly written wisdom, Thank all yon contributors for excellent commentary to flesh it all out.

Below are the words from my daily political diary. It is quite long so scroll on by if not interested. But do stay around and add your commentary and point of view to the thread.

Reminder,Commenter Rodguy is the one to watch for recent updates.

Tuesday Date-4/10/18

Here's an interesting tidbit, something I did not know. Seems Senator Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, is banned from receiving communion in the Catholic church.

Per my church bulletin this week:

"Senator Durbin was among 14 Catholic members of the U.S. Senate who voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Children's Act last month."

---------------------------

The Facebook Discussion:

Mark Zuckerberg is due to testify before congress tomorrow and for the life of me I don't know what this is all about.

Of course Facebook reveals our spending habits, the sites we visit, the stuff we order.

It's when this outfit starts selling our data to political firms that it gets a bit much.

We'll be listening to the testimony one way or the other.

-------------------

James Comey next Sunday night on ABC at 9pm about his new book. Being interviewed by George Steponallofus. This is going to open things up like never before.

Wednesday Date-4/11/18

The International Criminal Court at The Hague may prosecute Israel over the deaths of Arab rioters who clashed with IDF forces on the Gaza-Israel frontier over the past week and a half, a top ICC official warned Sunday.

Chief Prosecutor for the ICC Fatou Bensouda issued a statement Sunday demanding an end to the use of violence on the border between Israel and Gaza, and suggested that both Israel and the Hamas terror organization could be held responsible for the deaths of some 30 Arab rioters and terrorists killed since activists launched six weeks of violent protests on the frontier on March 30th.

Yes I am paying attention to the invasion of President Trump's attorney and I am incensed, like most of America.

Soon it will be all of us.

Soon the FBI will take over, the federal police force, the police state.

---------------------------

As I write I watch Mark Zuckerberg testifying before congress.

He looks like he's 12 years old.

Keeping eagle eye upon.

-----------------------

Thursday Date-4/12/18

If this country has learned nothing in this first year of Donald Trump's presidency, it's that the FBI is corrupt and really, really bad.

How well I remember the Hatfill guy, accused for years by dumb bell Mueller, THEY EVEN DRAINED HIS BACKYARD POND!

Only Hatfill didn't send out packets of anthrax and Whitey Bulger was having people murdered while he was an FBI informant and with killer Mueller's full knowledge.

Folks, we have a federal police force and you haven't learned that now, learn it soon.

And here I type this on Facebook.

They already cut me off once.

Cause people that talk bad about the lovely, lovely, sweet, fair and kind-hearted Robert Mueller….bad things happen to them.

Friday Date-4/13/18

So I watched Mike Pompeo's testimony before the intelligence committee in congress.

I was quite impressed.

First, once upon a time he said, somewhere, that he thought that marriage between same sexes is an abomination.

Well a lot of people believe that.

Another browbeating senator asked Pompeo is the thought same-sex couples in the State department were abominations.

"I treat everyone who works for me, no matter their sexual orientation, with respect and dignity.

They were trying to get the guy.

Jerks.

Comey's book a laughing stock.

"Comey: Getting wedgies as a kid in N.J. prepared me for Trump "

By Noah Cohen

ncohen@njadvancemedia.com,

NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

Decades before former FBI Director James Comey says he faced the mob boss-like tactics of President Trump, the fired lawman got an early lesson in bullies growing up in Allendale, he writes.

In Comey's book, "A Higher Loyalty," the 1978 Northern Highlands Regional High School graduate describes suffering through body-shaming, wedgies and getting shoved into lockers, according to the Washington Post, which obtained an advance copy of the already best-seller.

Comey, who says Trump demanded a loyalty pledge, links lessons from his upbringing in Bergen County to his public clash with the president. Trump ultimately canned Comey amid the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

"Surviving a bully requires constant learning and adaptation. Which is why bullies are so powerful, because it's so much easier to be a follower, to go with the crowd, to just blend in," Comey writes.

The future FBI chief faced other traumatic experiences growing up in a leafy section of Bergen County. At 15, Comey was held captive by a gun-toting assailant dubbed the "Ramsey Rapist."

--------------------------

"Untruthful slime ball”

Trump's tweet refers to Comey..

"In that case we should let the few legitimate players in the region to get the job done. Only makes common sense."

Israel gonna Israel. Always.

Egypt is a corrupt basket case.

Unfortunately, the Saudis have entangled their investment money beyond hope of extracting them from the rest of the first world; and yet they are so fearful of being deposed that they rarely refuse a polite request.

The historical take with Russia has always been they want a warm water port for their crude oil and Syria seemed to be the best culmination for their pipeline. We have videos of Russian tractor trailers moving poisonous gas into Syria just before Saddam was taken out, they are historical allies of Syria.

IT was also useful for Russia to befriend Iran since zero gave Iran so much money the ruskies figured they could swindle the mullahs out of some of it. Since, they both hate the great satan and that the Syrians are natural allies of the Iranians both being shia inclined so Russia befriended both. Both were and still are useful tools. Little changes in the Mideast. It's always about shia vs. sunnis an has been for centuries.

It's all BS but islam and its idiotic dictates rules the region. To ignore that is to ignore reality of the region.

Sad thing is that chance to help the Iranian people take back their country came and went in 2009. During those riots in 2009 a young girl, Neda Agha Soltan, was brutally shot. Her death effected the entire nation and anyone hoping to liberate Iran had their chance in that moment.

But, we had a CIA that was busy running drugs in the area(Afghanistan). They didn't have the time to help democracy come back to Iran and the ozero/jarrett regime ignored the event and took the side of Iran which looks to me as if zero was a Russian pawn all along.

A well coordinated CIA could have taken down the mullahs in no time at all back then. Today it's a different world.

I don’t care if its Iraq,Iran,Syria, or a dozen other countries from Yemen to Libya. It’s all the same. If you are a foreign non-muslim power you better come to the table with lots of troops, lots of firepower and be ready to stay forever to achieve what Donald Trump would describe as a win.

I doubt we have that sort of resolve.

In that case we should let the few legitimate players in the region to get the job done. Only makes common sense.
...
Astute points. I know the elephant in the room is our own oil independence. The only thing keeping us from it over last 50 yrs is our government reps selling us out...plain and simple. We need no oil from anyone, In fact, we need like 10 more refineries...without $ to build madrasses, there are minimal problems from M.E.,...but the same government reps need $ from players in the MIC...military industrial complex, and the Carlyle Group, Booze-Allen, etc. Keeps the war, CIA engine greased... We both know both Bushes are to blame for much of this, and the Clintons and Obamas...not to mention all the $$$ they and their buds made off the drug imports at the nation’s expense. Treasonous bunch should be hanging from trees...

In advance of the Jake Tapper Comedy Hour, CNN is teasing the apeparance of Preet Bharara.

Check out the "prosecutorial discretion" that will be on display. Will be full of accusation via insinuation and speculation.

Gina Haspell appears to have the full faith and trust of many agents at CIA which is about all you can ask. There was one hit against her on the torture techniques at abu ghraib at iraq years ago she appears to have been falsely accused on that one. Seems all she was guilty of was following her superior Gonzales’orders at the time.
As far as Pompeo goes last time I did a little looking into on him he came out OK but if you are looking for perfection look elsewhere......

I am conflicted on the Syria missile attack.

I really think more proof should have been presented on the initial chemical attack being done by Assad’s forces.

I am suspicious in the light of just last week Pres. Trump said he was going to pull us out of Syria now that ISIS has been destroyed. In this regard, at least I know Pres. Trump isn’t doing a “wag the dog”.

Now on the other hand, the fact that it appears we killed Iranians is GOOD.
..
I was, too until I guy deeper...yes, even some Anons shed some light...it diffused the deep state who want war by doing what they wanted, BUT, we hit Iranian assets, CIA-controlled assets, other items to keep all our forces at bay and no innocents killed...amazing sightedness, really.

Attorney Client privilege is now a thing of the past. I have many (too many!) lawyers and they are probably wondering when their offices, and even homes, are going to be raided with everything, including their phones and computers, taken. All lawyers are deflated and concerned!

Thanks for the kind words.

Really great stuff Fish.

Zuckerberg for instance used the same patented reply 20 times that: "his people would get back to any difficult question asked of him."

Zuckerberg has created an algorhytm that excludes our sides voice and aids his side on the left. This is the equivalent of modern day book burning or selective editing at the very least. This guy is as slick as they come.

He knows that conservatives hate govt. control of any private industry yet facebook is crying out for fairness for our side. The guy is super slick. He needs to be watched very closely.

Once again great job unearthing topic after topic.

To: All

Couple of things this past week.

First, my nephew Matthew, who I write about often as he is 15 and says he will President when he’s 35. He will be going to Bejing this coming August, some kind of thing where he is a representative in a mock UN.

Recently, with all A’s, after-school volunteer work as required, and good behavior, he made the school’s National Honor Society but was denied membership in the NATIONAL chapter of the NHS. Denial was based on his tendency to ask the teachers what was wrong with his test answers that they marked wrong.

Evidently Matthew’s teachers didn’t like that so they voted against him.

This past week Matthew’s mother informs that he has been accepted into the FRENCH National Honor Society.

Who knew there was such a thing?

Matthew does speak French but I bet not as well as I do.

Anyway, Friday I went to see Chippaquidick!!!

All by myself. First time I been to a movie by myself in ages but I was fine with it.

Now my friend, Diane Feinstein, is a little bit of a political junkee and she does remember Choppaquidick as do so many of us who were around in 1969.

I will be doing a review of the movie.

Did I like it?

Very much so. Turns out that Teddy Kennedy got his expired driver’s license fixed up behind the scenes. He told the world that he had a concussion which is why he was disoriented and didn’t report the accident until some ten hours later.

A total lie. Teddy was not examined by any Doctor the night of the accident.

There were some scenes in the movie that had to be fiction, will cover in review.

So yesterday me and Diane Feinstein go to church. The usher, who had a crush on her, asked her if she wanted to take home the statue of the Virgin Mary, which she did one time before.

So the priest calls her name at the end of mass (the usher asked me if I wanted to take it home but I told him I got cats. Only someone who has cats would understand that). She hobbles up to get the statue and the usher who loves her brought out the special container for her to carry it. Another parishioner, sweet guy, offered to carry it out to my Jeep.

As we exit the church, Diane Feinstein says to the parishioner that the Jeep is “right over there, by that grassy knoll.”

Don’t you know the parishioner says, heh, “Got to watch grassy knolls, bad things happen there.”

What are the odds? So it was my chance to mention Chappaquidick, which was playing right down the road.

We discussed, with Diane Feinstein telling us that she will watch it when it comes on television.

Heh.

You can pick apart any of the better leaders in the area. But, if your choice is for us the leave a half million troops in the Mid east(and remember we are dead broke) to ensure tranquility I doubt it passes anyone's political view of the region.

The Saudis are under new leadership which works closely with us and Egypt has al-sisi who is U.S. educated and has pretty good common sense. Is their corruption in Egypt, dam right, is there corruption here, dam right.

James Comey’s fifteen minutes of fame have come and have gone. The Comey game, the Comey interviews, the Comey book tour and the Comey book sales are going nowhere. Within the next week, James Comey will be just like Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton are...failed, disgraced has beens. James Comey will soon be in the Obama/Clinton league...an empty suit, ego-maniac..”ZERO”.

With the exception of Fox News I don’t believe any of these shows are currently available via DirecTV.

Some kind of a dispute between DirecTV and the networks I guess.

Work around solutions are welcomed.

Correct me if I’m wrong on this but don’t tell me to put that antenna back on my roof. That wouldn’t fly.
