“He probably would have been better off using his skills to help fight for cleaning the air than taking his life the way he did.”

Mentally ill drama queen. He thought he was so important that his death, in a spectacular way, would make the world come to its senses and immediately stop using “fossil” fuels. Given that world view, that he saw himself as a modern Jesus, who would give his life that man could live, he really had no choice.

Oil is found at depths as far down as five miles. As there were never dinosaurs buried that deep and given that oil only goes up in the strata, like a bubble in water, there must be other mechanisms producing it than dead dinosaurs. Oil wells that were played out in the ‘40’s are producing again, so we obviously don’t understand where oil comes from.

As for global warming, anytime something takes on the status of a cult it is unlikely to be scientifically valid, especially when the cult members attack actual scientists who are not believers.

I’ll bet that if we knew more about this guy that he would have seemed crazy enough to be locked up for his own safety years ago. I blame those around him for his death, as nobody had the guts to report him to people who could have taken actions to save him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a freezer full of body parts or something equally crazy. This self emollition is only the public crazy thing that he did. There will be plenty of less well known things; count on it.

Deconstruct the story we’ve been told here...

It takes hours for a body to burn, and who would do a “protest suicide” alone, in the dark, in the middle of the night?

No, this gay LAMDA/pedo lawyer had a lot of reasons for people to do away with him.

This is fake news/perfect murder set up.

Right you are on well made points.
Especially the fact that oil is not entirely the “fossil fuel” we’ve been mislead to believe.
Oil deposits are ever renewable, thanks to The Deep Hot Biosphere...

All often rebutted points.

This article is several years old, but gives a pretty good overall view. It’s major fault is that it does not take fracking into account.

Most of the evidence is for biotic oil origins. There may be some abiotic oil, but as a practical matter, it does not matter much.
