FWIW, my son’s friend works at Field and Stream and says his store has taken a huge hit on merchandise sales overall since the age restriction and AR ban.

I bet if Dick(less) were to put those pink Pu**y caps on sale, they would offset their gun sales. Imagine seeing those hats at every park and on every climbing rock. In years ahead they will be collectors items like Beanie Babies or used for udder covers for milk cows.

I wouldn't go that far. I might buy some stuff at the store closing sale.
A year from now, when Dick’s closes up, we will be told that their failure is due to structural changes in the brick-and-mortar retailing model, and market forces beyond their control, etc.
We will be told, endlessly, that their famous posturing on gun control had absolutely nothing to do with their failure, and probably extended their corporate life by six months.
