Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) says that trillion-dollar deficits could not have been avoided by the GOP-controlled Congress, responding to critics within his party who say that leaders have behaved irresponsibly.
“That was going to happen. The baby boomers retiring was going to do that,” Ryan said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” of projections that the country will start running trillion-dollar deficits as soon as 2020.

He always wants to cut social security but can never identify even one unnecessary govt agency he could bear to shut down.
Big problem with that is that no matter how many millions were brought in and made legal, it would never be enough. Between undercutting the native labor force and drawing entitlements at every opportunity, there’s no way they keep the system solvent.
Ryan may be a smart “kid” but he is a LOSER. There’s no leadership in the guy. He goes wherever his money flag blows. He is only as smart as his sense aligning himself with the money goes. The “Will Of The People” is secondary. Good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ryan is also full of crap! Now, the Democrats/Rinos have placed IOUs in Social Security Funds over past few decades, and removed monies for their special programs.
Then left had the audacity to want to merge the Social Security Trust into General Fund, and it did not happen.... YET there appears to be NO money left in Social Security Trust Fund. SST should have been SELF-Funding!

Trillion dollar deficits were manufactured by democrat cooperation. Their entire plan was to run against the tax cuts. Once the official deficit is acknowledged in September as $1 trillion, democrats will blame the tax cut and run through November to roll back the “irresponsible deficit generating tax cuts.”
Ryan is an imbecile for giving them the ammunition and DJT should have seen this coming.

I say, in a sane world, especially in a sane U.S., an obvious fraud like Barack Obama would have never gotten near the U.S. Presidency.

It was always going to happen when incompetent, greedy, power hungry, selfish and me first politicians were and are in office. The rest of us who believed the promises, voted accordingly and finally enough people did receive money stolen from those who worked and the party was in full bloom. That, coupled with a worthless education program, made the whole evil process easy. Sad, but true. And look where we are now. Some of the current administration are trying to correct but is fighting not only the free loaders but many of its own. Hate and evil are difficult to overcome.
