What happened to the state of Jefferson proponents?

Adding 3 or 4 more Dim Senators? With the state fraud level, don’t count on any GOP wins.

Break Northern California into Northern California and Jefferson and it could be fair, creating four states with likely four Democrat Senators and four Republican Senators. Or just give the Bay Area to California instead of Northern California.

One way or another, this has to happen. The current state is completely ungovernable, and systematic vote fraud has entrenched the worst kind of weasels into the higher offices.

They need to continue the “State of California” a little further up the coast and include San Francisco, removing that area from the “State of Northern California” [aka - Jefferson]. That would almost guarantee that only California would be a guaranteed Democrat state; the other two would more likely be Republican states.

It doesn’t at all fix the Inland Empire complaints. Those counties, chaffing under domination by Sacramento, LA and SF still remain dominated by SF and Sacramento or, slightly better, San Diego and LA suburbs.

A two-state solution, with Silicon Valley and Sacramento united with LA makes much more sense. That won’t happen, though: Coastal California would have to relinquish control of its life blood to Inland California, and the population imbalance is still pretty severe.

I vote nay. Just wait until “the big one” splits off and drops SF to LA into the Pacific.

And it looks like each new state will still be dominated by a large metropolitan area: San Francisco, San Diego, and LA.

There already is an NC (North Carolina), so they can't abbreviate Northern CA to NC.

And their already is an SC (South Carolina), so they can't abbreviate Southern CA to SC.

They may have to do a West California and an East California. WC and EC.

Just thinking the obvious through to a natural conclusion.

The map has San Francisco in the Northern California “state.” This means Northern California will be run by San Francisco, with its big city greater population. If I lived in northern Calif. I think I would be wary of this proposal.

I could live with the demarcations for SoCal, but NorCal isn’t going to be real hot about accepting SFO/Alameda, Sta Clara or Sta Mateo.

What happened to 7 states?
