Democrats are eager to impeach Trump. Here's why their dream could backfire big time

Will House Speaker Paul Ryan’s retirement increase the odds of President Trump’s impeachment? Maybe, but Democratic leaders don’t want to talk about it.

President Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder and former top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod, among others, want their liberal allies to shut up about impeaching President Trump. They fear that threats to drive the president from office will boost voter turnout – not among Democrats, as some on the left hope, but rather among Republicans.

Axelrod tweeted recently: “Dems should NOT commit to impeachment unless & until there’s a demonstrable case for one…. If we “normalize” impeachment as a political tool, it will be another hammer blow to our democracy.”

Holder tweeted in response: “Ax is exactly right. Midterms can be, among other things, a referendum on this Administration, its policies and its supporters - at federal and state levels. Midterms should not be centered around questions of impeachment.”

‘Blue Wave’ My Aunt Fanny!

The Socialist Democrat Party has been losing and losing BIG since 0bama. WHO is on their bench?

They have nothing but, ‘Hate Trump! Impeach!’ I doubt they’ll listen to these two. But, they get even more dangerous to America when cornered. Don’t EVER forget that!

PDJT is over 50% approval rating. That hasn’t happened in like - EVER. 2018 is going to favor us IF we all get off the couch and vote.

And I don’t CARE if you have to hold your nose in some cases! Just Do It!

If it doesn’t backfire big time, America is lost.

Unfortunately for them, the lunatic Left will keep impeachment front and center.

Its the energizing issue for their base. They have nothing else as galvanizing and this is what they will do should they back the House in November.

Bank on it.

The real key here is in the SCOTUS decisions in twin cases before it: Gil v. Whitford and Benisek v. Lamone. If the SCOTUS declares political gerrymandering to be a “political question” and non-jusiciable, then the GOP can keep favorable districting lines until 2030. If not, and they come up with some reason for Courts to start drawing Congressional and statehouse district lines, we are not screwed. We are very screwed.

There is no doubt in my mind that they will. And that is why we must make sure that the rats will not be able to take the majority back, and that we increase our majority in both houses.

There are a lot of deep state rinos that want to impeach Trump too.

Trump might do well to make this election about him especially if we get a good OIG report on the swamp creatures. More Uranium one info is good. I would think that Rosenstein could be very weak here and if recusal is recommended or inferred for the weasel or better, indictment, Trump could fire him and maybe Meuller at the same time. There would be calls for impeachment from the Dems, but the anti-Trump rinos would be too queasy to call for impeachment right before the election.

Demo marketing for midterms:
Reverse tax cuts.
Ownership of over half the guns in civilian hands to become illegal.
2nd amendment repealed.
Confiscation of all semiauto guns.
Confiscation of all single shot guns.
Increase energy costs with carbon credits.
Higher taxes beyond the reversal of the recent tax cuts.
A winning strategy don’t ya think?

“There are even some freepers in that bunch”

Really? Are they like FRINO trolls, popping in to cause trouble, or are they well-established FReepers that no one would have ever thought would feel that way?

“Its the energizing issue for their base. They have nothing else as galvanizing and this is what they will do should they back the House in November.”

So, what will the left do if they impeach Trump, and Trump calls out the Marines and Airborne to arrest the Democrat house for treason.

How many divisions can a democrat house muster for a battle?

Don’t include the weenie millennial Antifa; they can’t fight for squat.

We hold the outcome in our hands, The only thing we need is for all good patriots to support gop candidates, and rise above childish perfectionism. This is no time for Rand Paulish Einstein’s to go rogue, or petulant purists to sit at home with their thumbs up their butts. GOTV for Trump.
