Trump should fire Mueller, Sessions and the entire upper echelon of the FBI. Then demand an immediate impeachment vote. The House wont even muster enough votes to impeach.

‘GOTV for Trump.’

Exactly. The ‘Rats are making it VERY easy for us this time around. All we have to do is to do our Civic Duty...and ask everyone we know to do the same. :)

“they are in the minority”

That’s good to know. I have suspicions as I’ve seen some comments of support for the president, then all of a sudden those same posters turn on a dime.

Mostly I just think they never supported him and don’t get caught up in their trolling.

I support the President. In the races where there are no Republicans that can take on the Democrat (and that means a weak (R) as well as no opposition) I am going to work as hard as I can to get another party on the ballot, and a candidate to take out the Democrat.

I know, you guys seem to think the third party folks are not worth discussing. The reality is, we had 60% turnout in the most contentious presidential race ever. 40% of America feels disenfranchised enough not to vote and nearly 60% of voters feel disenfranchised too. A new party, a strong, middle ground party rooted in the Constitution and rule of law is what a lot of people are looking for. Does that mean I’m trying to take out strong Republicans? No. I think the real politics should be between the Reps and the new party that I’m working with. The Veterans Party of America. I’m not a vet, and they’re not only about vets. They were founded by vets. But, anyone can participate.

The Dems have betrayed the country over and over. They do NOT deserve my vote.

The GOPe has betrayed this country over and over. They do NOT deserve my vote.

The Veterans Party has NOT betrayed this country. They have had many members put down limb and brethren put down life for this country. I was 16 and going through cancer, and knew that I would never be able to serve. Now, I still can’t but, I can do my part to contribute to a party that will never back down.

Trump and conservative Republicans have given and given to fight the swamp. This is a war. And who knows better how to win that?

If we “normalize” impeachment as a political tool, it will be another hammer blow to our democracy.

Axelrod is right about that, but what he really means is "it might be used against us." Which it will.

It’ll backfire when they have a sitting prez and congress turns (R).

The precedent is to impeach the other party’s president.

Thank you for your post.

“The Dems have betrayed the country over and over. They do NOT deserve my vote.

The GOPe has betrayed this country over and over. They do NOT deserve my vote.”

I agree with you. But I really don’t know how we get away from the two-party system.

The best case scenario that I can see would be to eliminate a RINO by running a conservative Republican against him in the primary.

But even that’s iffy, as the powers that be could always plant a third candidate in the primary, with the goal being to take votes away from the conservative.

We’re DEFINITELY not establishment.

The hope is to fill the spots that the GOPe has abandoned, or the Dems have dominated, and show the people there is another way.

As far as I know, there are no plans to take on candidates who have strong constitutional values.

People somehow have been convinced that only 2 parties deserve our precious vote. And that’s not true. It’s just not. The Dems and Reps have become so entrenched, Trump is having to battle his own party to get Constitutional measures passed. Don’t you want to see the GOPe go away?

A strong Veterans party and Republican party with the Dems on the outside, having to have a permanent minority status would be an ideal situation. Most of the country isn’t hardcore leftist, but that is the bread and butter of the Dems.
