I've thought of that, too. I don't believe that 'They' are actually doing it, but 'They' could decide to.
As for those who deliberately have themselves tested: I've never understood why anybody would want to send their DNA off to one of those genealogical sites. What will you learn that you can do anything about, or that will change your real life?
We are what we are; and what we do with ourselves and our gifts, moment to moment, is all that matters.
