Tis true, the DNA does not lie. My wife and I did this, she found out that family lore that she was part Native American turned out to be false. I however am 8% Native American.

My wife did find a cousin in another state with whom she corresponded and found out that she has ancestors who came to this country via France. Its cool to explore things like this, and who knows, we may help solve a crime, on the part of one of our inlaws or outlaws.

Yep. My father in-law is adopted, and found his half-brother and sister through ancestry.com DNA matches. I wonder how many people find out they are not related to their father?
