Really? Well illegal aliens are not immigrants they are criminal invaders. Oh and how about a list of Government spending plans that raised our debt that you did not vote for or fought against compared to a list that you did fight for and voted for?

I do not know what his values were before, but I think he may have succumbed to Stockholm syndrome. It seems to be a common affliction in the Swamp.

If Kasich really were concerned about our rising debt, he would not be in favor of the welfare-immigrants invading us on our southern border.

The only reason Kasich won southwest Ohio is Strickland’s greater incompetence at keeping NCR in Dayton.

No, you are fighting for the establishment. If you and your kind win... America and its’ citizens lose.
That simple...

His problem is that there doesnt appear to be any difference in his mind between common sense conservative values and liberal values.
To: conservative98
Common sense conservative values on immigration are controlled immigration policies that do not heavily favor those who do not want to become American citizens, but rather seek only economic relief and expect her citizens to pay their way from arrival until death.

Imagine a third party called the reasonable party generally Republican but much more Centrist than Trump. That doesn't make sense. Kasich is presenting himself as someone who is more conservative than Trump. He's not going to win the support of white working class voters -- historically Democrats -- who supported Trump in 2016.
Kasich is playing to globalist Republican voters here -- the ones who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016. If he's that popular with Republicans, he'd simply run against Trump in the GOP primary. But he already did that -- and lost badly.

When John Kasich joined Congress in 1983 the Federal budget was about $800 billion. When he left Congress in 2001 it was about $1.9 trillion. How many times did he ever vote against a Federal spending bill?
He was the chairman of the House Budget Committee for his last six years in Congress.
John Kasich personifies the very "swamp" Donald Trump ran against.
