CNN, already attempting a divisive spin on the thing. Nice try, fellas. No sale.

Dear President Trump.

Please present your plan for National Carry Reciprocity/Protection of the right to bear arms on all U.S. territories.

Please tell us of your support for removing silencers from the NFA.

Yes, these would be great... national reciprocity throughout USA, silencers, AND end to gun free killing zones.

Trump is set to speak to the gun lobby>>>>>>>>

Hurrah for the NRA and PDJT!

But eff CNN, the NRA is not a “gun lobby.” The NRA are civil protectors of the 2nd amendment of the Constitution and therefore are protectors of the People of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.

Sorry CNN, you have put your foot in your mouth once again, so that you have likely lost another few hundred thousand viewers. I for one NEVER watch your sordid excuse for a news service.

When you finally tank as a Joseph Goebbels liberal fascist propaganda net work, we will dance on your CNN graves.

Do you think the bumpstock ban was step one? Shall not be infringed is a pretty clear statement. Going after the guns is not the solution.. going after criminals is.
Might I suggest a wall while we’re at it? Trillions of dollars in chuck n Nancy spending.. yes, some deal.

He should be disinvited for his stupid and thoughtless comments regarding confiscation before conviction and due process.

Agreed - he screwed up on that one. I seem to recall having a good excuse for him at the time - but can’t recall what it was now. I think I chalked it up to a too-quick judgement and poor advice from others. I wouldn’t disinvite him - but set him straight and let him revisit the issue.

OTOH - the NRA hasn’t always been the strongest supporter of gun rights either - supporting the new regulations for (against?) machine guns, background checks, and most recently putting restrictions on bump stocks. The NRA might well be for confiscation without due process in some cases - but I don’t know.

Reagan, as Governor of California, asked for and got the laws against open-carry. It was meant to keep the Black Panthers from parading around with firearms, but .....

stupid and thoughtless comments regarding confiscation before conviction and due process.

Devil is in the details. An emergency order of limited duration does not preclude due process.

He should mention how NRA instructor Stephen Willeford stopped the Sutherland Springs mass murderer with an AR-15.

HA!

David Hogg DEMANDS that Pence cancel his speech, so Trump shows up instead.

Three Dimensional Chess indeed.
