NEW YORK (AP) — For 108 years, the Boy Scouts of America’s flagship program has been known simply as the Boy Scouts. With girls soon entering the ranks, the group says that iconic name will change.
The organization on Wednesday announced a new name for its Boy Scouts program: Scouts BSA. The change will take effect next February.
“We wanted to land on something that evokes the past but also conveys the inclusive nature of the program going forward,” said Chief Scout Executive Mike Surbaugh. “We’re trying to find the right way to say we’re here for both young men and young women.”

Girls Scouts were taken over by dykes and radical feminists at the top level long long ago... most local troops are still run by good women, but the organization itself was lost long ago.
BSA fell down the rabbit hole as well, just more recently and not as far YET... but its well on its way sadly.

Just rename the Boy Scouts the Glam Scouts and get it over with.

I was in a co-ed explorer post in the early 70’s. This isn’t as new as they say.
The organization, most likely, is irreparable.
The leadership and culture is gone. It is not coming back.
I suppose this is payback for letting boys play on girls sports teams....

Girl Scouts can’t be too happy about the competition to their organization. Frankly, I would rather have my daughter in the Boy Scouts organization than the Girl Scouts which has definitely gone left over the years. But what I expect will happen is a demand for a merger at some point by the leftist leadership of the Girl Scouts. Meanwhile, there will be an ever greater demand for women scout leaders in the Boy Scout organization until it is totally unrecognizable.
I would not let my sons belong to the present day Boy Scouts!!!

I have to say I have some leftover feminist DNA floating around, BUT......this is wrong! Boys, girls, men & women need a place that’s just for that particular gender. Whether it’s the boy scouts, a club for women only or men only.....that should be sacred.
When you purposely mix the genders because of some ridiculous PC reason it changes the dynamic. Will never understand busybodies who live to wreck things for others.
