Pathetic that they caved so easily, (on many issues). Hollow shell of what they once were. One better hope they’re local troop are decent, because national admin is ruining this organization.

As the father of an Eagle Scout I feel I can comment.One of my nephews in his early 20s and an Eagle Scout now calls himself Tara and wears girly clothes (I don't think he had a chopitoffame operation- yet). I can't help but wonder if he was turned out by a scout leader.

This was a matter of pure survival. Boy Scout membership has been declining for years, and they're desperate to keep the organization alive.
Give it a few years and they'll be allowing dogs to join.
