Insert all the appropriate caveats: It’s only early May, this is one poll, candidate quality matters, we don’t know what big issues or scandals or events will alter the political landscape between now and November, etcetera.
But this poll from Morning Consult should have the National Republican Senate Committee doing cartwheels, as this is a terrific time to be a GOP challenger.

This will probably cause them to increase their attacks on PDJT.
They will undoubtedly draw the conclusion that keeping their distance from them is helping them.

All incumbent republicans should be replaced in the primaries for dereliction of duty. There is no way we can win with these losers. I wish Trump would start a new party. In fact, I think that if they are successful in removing Trump, he could become more powerful and lead a new party to majority in a few short election cycles.
I wish he would start a new party too. When I vote in the next election I will be holding my nose and only voting to protect the President. Right now though, I am not very sure that Republicans will protect the president of their own party.
I have been fighting that possibility for awhile now. Now I think it is plain for all of us to see and I will not deny it. No wonder so many people no longer care.

I think Republicans are sure to lose NV and new blue AZ. I saw Blackburn is bow by 13% in Tennessee. So the Republcians need to pick up three Democrats seats to keep the majority. Looks MO, WV and ND are the best bets
If Trump impacts voter fraud issues like he has illegal immigration, the last election might not be a fluke.
Who helps 'the dead' pull the lever? What is the statistical difference in votes from late return ballot (on election night) from boxes from similar democrat precincts?
(Hint: ballot boxes are held back on purpose so the stuffing process doesn't put in so many extra votes that the fraud is obvious)

At the moment, you are probably correct about the GOPE. But as the year develops, if Trump continues to climb in popularity ( especially if the NK thing gets done right), the RINOs will start to count the cards they’re holding and probably decide it’s better for them to “switch rather than fight!”
I, and everyone I know, have a policy of always lying to political pollsters.
While these number look bad for Democrats now things will change. They will look increasingly worse as we get closer to Election Day. Don’t forget Republicans (WHO DO NOT DESERVE TO WIN BUT WILL WIN BIG) have not begun to hammer this putrid bunch with questions about their party’s intentions to repeal the Second Amendment, repeal the Trump tax cuts, Impeach Trump, grant amnesty to every burglar who shows up on our borders, and force White Christians to pay slave reparations to Democrats so they can steal the money and buy Black votes with it. All of this will be going on while the millenniums are pulling back from them and Blacks are walking away from them. Plus take this to the bank: when the Mueller inquisition ends it will NOT hurt Trump but it will destroy many prominent Democrats. Throw in the fact that the leaders of the Democrat party are Hillary Clinton Nancy Pelosi and David Camera HOGG and add a dash of Crazy Democrats demanding that the Insane Democrats say out loud they will do the things they are trying to keep secret - repeal 2 A etc.. and the Democrat party will be a toxic wasteland in November.
Some might say “Yeah all kids will vote for Democrats, all Blacks will vote for Democrats and/or all Hispanics will vote Democrat” but there is nothing to support these statements.
On the other hand, let’s get rid of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A) so that we no longer have to be concerned about low-information voters electing state sovereignty-ignoring crooks to the Senate.
In fact, until the states wise up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of the outcome of Alabama's and Pennsylvania's special elections, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud, associated MSM scare tactics, and interference from people like Soros.

The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
