IT'S TIME.
We need to stop talking and act. A march on Washington DC by We the People, the Trumpers, those of us that voted for him!
I'm thinking in Early September--Labor day or there abouts.
Trump deserves our support and he needs it sooner rather than later. I bet a lot of former Tea Party participants would be ready to show up for an event like this.

The Left and their allies in the media always feared the power of the Tea Party and its ability to mobilize conservatives. The very idea of a large protest event in the epicenter of the Swamp will shake up some people. We need to do this.
Count me in.
I fear that i will take more than a march to get their attention.
I believe that the Bonus Marchers still believed that the government had their best interests at heart. I'm not sure that the same could be said these days. The results, if misplayed by .gov, would be devastating both in the short-term and the long-term.

BTW, I think this could be very different—We could have supportive House members from Freedom Caucus and types like Louie Gohmert talk...heck maybe even President Trump and VP Pence...They are speaking at the NRA convention in Dallas, why not at a Washington event.
Or could have Hannity and others speak...Make it a big news event—very different from a small group protesting regularly in front of White House (not to take away from their efforts BTW).
IF we would want to have march end with a rally and speakers, we would want to plan it when Congress is in session to pull in Freedom Caucus and perhaps even President Trump (nothing on his daily calendar, but should check his travel schedule) and VP Pence...hey they are speaking at the NRA convention in Dallas, so why not in DC at a rally supporting their administration?!?!
I suppose pitchforks and torches will have to do, firearms aren't allowed. And those guys with M-4s and MP5s would be annoyed if you brought one.

Most of us live in flyover country...why not protest where we live? Gathering in small towns, cities near us...something on that order? It can be a financial and physical burden on many to travel to D.C.. I have no issue with a large gathering in D.C. I would love to go. At this point with my husband’s health there is no way. I just want to make sure those of us that very likely cannot make it that far also have places designated to gather and let our voices be heard too. Freepers who live in these areas could organize something in their own area.
We need an overall theme that can be carried out nation wide along with people free to carry different signs of support as well. The dims love to say President Trump is not their President, we could have a nation wide theme of something simple like President Trump is OUR President...something catchier...I know FReepers could come up with something.

In my opinion Rush is not needed for organization or to attend, if he would cover it that would be great.
October surprise is an excellent idea. We should start in advance say 2 weeks- a month earlier by starting the protest with emails, phone calls, every other way we can think of- contacting all our Congress people and let them know we are fed up...as that builds it can lead up to the protest itself.
Fill their email boxes, and keep their phones ringing night and day. Call campaign locations for those running for office. The goal should be to let ALL of them know how we feel.

Very, very few independent truckers left in this country. If big company truck drivers stray from their route or schedule the driver would be accused of theft at the least.

That too! This needs to be HUGE, I think the way to make it truly huge is to make sure there are many messages sent, many ways...and ways for every single Trump supporter to be heard one way or another...
I rather like the idea Trump goes out to the people.....with NKorea, Iran etc. on his plate I’m not so sure ‘protesting’ anything is such a grand idea at this time.
If communties across the nation wanted to hold a Support Day for Trump that would be great but these arches to WAshington don’t hold much water unless they’re gigantic....
Guess I’ll wait to see what the thread sstates from others.
The reality of the situation is that most on "our" side have work and/or family commitments, and may be further away than a day trip to D.C. which of course brings up scheduling and cost issues.
If 10,000 people showed up to 4 regional DOJ offices at the same time, it could be just as effective...maybe more-so, than say 40,000 in D.C. alone.
